I'm looking to spend $300 - $600 for a stringer machine. If you are a knowledgeable stringer, I would appreciate knowing what you recommend. I don't know what to think about the drop bar/crank issue, so please don't exclude either. I used to have an old BR-3 (drop weight) about 25 years ago and have not strung for a long time, but now I want to get back into it. I like the "idea" of the crank, but only if it's accurate.

    Thanks

This thread is likely to get transferred; there's a Stringing Machines forum too.

The Alpha Revo 4000 is probably one of the best machines in your price range. About $550. Table top. 6 point mounting. Crank. Good support from Alpha Tennis in Austin, TX.
