The wall behind the baseline at the WTA year end is so low that Roddick could serve right over it. Could it be that the ladies are being disrespected in the power department? I know that none of the WTA players have served over the low wall yet, but shouldn't the wall be higher to keep the fans safe in case of short smashes and powerful overheads?

i was at staples for the WTA and it the fans wasn't it great danger. when they smash the ball, the ball bounces high and fans were ready and excited to catch the ball. most of the time, the returner blocks the ball anyway. i don't think that it's disrespectful for women players.

I still believe Roddick could serve right over that wall.
