Did everybody see that kid that hugged Rafa at the end of the match? He had some big balls to get down there, and FTW... Rafa freaking gave him his bandana. ****.

  2. Yeah, it was very touching. :)

Too bad there was no little kiddy to hug Djokovic. He looked extremely disheartened.

Lucky? It's his nephew. Kind of awkward moments after the hug as he lingered on court and waved at the camera. Plus security must be gnashing their teeth now...

I love how he tries to break Nadal and Djokovic up. Also how Nadal shoves him off.

It was kind of rad when he copied Nadal, got on his knees, and raised his arms in victory. haha

I don't understand how or why he's called his nephew. Cousin would make more sense as his sister, Maribel, doesn't have a child. Or maybe she did at 13? Maybe he's not a nephew by blood? this confuses me. Unless I need to go back to grammar school and relearn the meaning of nephew. Either way this kid is now a legend (well at least until the next match anyway). I read some people are calling the kid arrogant and are absolutely flaming that he was on court. I understand if they're flaming about how untight security seems if somebody was able to get on court that easily, but to get angry at a kid simply mimicking his hero is RI-DI-CU-LOUS and kind of disgusts me. I thought the kid and Rafa were the cutest thing.

Uncle Toni figured that Nadal will need a talented nephew to mooch off of in the future.

That's who the kid is. Nadal-in-training.

In the minutes after the photo was taken and filed, you can be sure the photographer - like millions watching - had no idea who the tyke was. If it's cousin and it was reported as nephew, it's either a mistake in translation or an editorial choice - nephew sounds cuter. ;)

I think he was on TV sitting courtside, (when I looked at a replay) and his dad likely picked him up and put him on court as soon as the match was over . The boys probably is a show off and loved prancing around on court. Dad says "Try and get his headband and then get him to bend over and hug him you so you can be on the front page of a newspaper. Then our name will be famous worldwide."
Just looking for 15 seconds of fame IMO

I don't see anything wrong with what happened..it shows not only the human side of a celebrity..but the human side of an athlete. Especially when you have half of Spain chanting your name and bowing..which in my opinion if freakin awesome.
