I'm in Houston and can't find any black vapors at Ross. I've tried looking at about 5 stores in the last couple weeks.

from having formerly (formerly, THANK GOD) worked in retail management, it depends on how well the store is managed. The Ross near me just added tons more shelf space to mens shoe area obviously in anticipation of putting out a lot more shoes, but no new shoes have been put out for over a week since they added the shelves. There are probably cases and cases of shoes sitting in the receiving area in the back that they are too lazy to get out there. Same for the athletic apparel; they put more racks in that area too with tons of space, but no new stuff has been put out.
The Ross stores in Atlanta have sorry ass help in them any way and the stores are most always a mess. But you can snake a great find once in a while if you can stand the disarray and sorry ass workers in there.

It seems that at some Nike factory stores, the Black/Silver Vapor Tour VI went down to clearance pricing, $41.97. I just called one from another state and ordered myself a size 10.

    Cheers!

Regarding other stores carrying good tennis stuff: the only store in my area with tennis apparel or shoes has been Nordstrom Rack. My Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc have had NOTHING.

yeah the red laces are actually a lot cooler than i thought they would be, i'm thinking about going to the portland niketown and picking up another 2 or 3 pairs. Plus it's for a good cause, i think.

Can't believe that I found these... Nordstrom Rack in Tanasbourne, OR...

These are a 10.5. They also had one pair in 14 as well as several 1.3s in different colors and sizes. Also of note was a pair of the newly released Lunarlite Vapors (Black with Red) in size 10 for just $49.90!

Once again, I'm beyond excited with the find. Best find I've ever made at a Nordstrom Rack!

I went to the Nike Outlet store over the weekend and got some clothes at great prices. Not amazing like some of the other deals though!

I mean yes it is since they are new model and size is not big like 12 or 13. Most of the time Nike factory has model shoes not the real one for latest model. Unless you are lucky dog you will get it for $60 at factory store.

what did you get? your area store is better than ours for now.
I went nike factory store last week and It was strange because they used to sell Nadal white long check short in clearance sections. the price was around $15 and lowest price was $8 but they moved most of tennis clothes to the tennis section and raised prices. the nadal same shorts priced at $35 now

What kind of adidas shirts are those?
    Do they raise prices again?
The prices went up $16 to $20 range end of the last year but have not seen $25-30 price ranges. Our TJ/Marshalls has last year's adidas polo around $17-20 ranges but I am not big fan of adidas polo though.

My Nordstrom Rack had no good shoes. They had a bunch of new Nike stuff, with some nice running shoes in the mix, but no tennis. *Sigh*

I will post pics of my newly acquired Vapor VI Tours. I got white/baby blue and black/silver.
The white ones I got dirt cheap from Factory store in Milpedas $28.12 shipped (last pair) and black for $49 shipped from South Carolina. even TW can't beat that. Soorry

I did the same $49 shipped from Cincinnati on the black/silver vapors. It will be my first pair of Vapors so I am hoping I like them.

    Cheers!

idk, i think it depends on the foot. I'm not a fan of narrow or stiff shoes, but when I tried some at the factory store, they felt fine. Snug, is more of the right word.

bri, me too for the price though i can take a little time to get adjusted.

For mine it depended on what shirt it was. Some were $20 and some were all the way at $30. They had this shirt in Black and Blue (The same blue that matches the Barricade's) for $20. They had a bunch of shirts like this in white and black and various colors

    Nike Factory Store...

Just got back from the Nike Factory Store in Sawgrass Mills...

Found a pair of gold Vapor VIs - $64.00

Also they have the Nike checkmate crews - for some reason the Royal blue was $21.95 other colors were 29.95.

There is also a Nike Factory store coupon floating around online 20% off.

Geesh, it sounds like I made a bad choice. :)
Honestly though, I am not too worried about it. I figure they will be a little stiff out of the box. I am not too worried about durability. My three times of tennis a week shouldn't burn through the soles too quickly. I just wanted to try a pair of these out before they are extinct. Plus, my Nike Cage Is are starting to lose some support. I haven't been wearing them for too long, but I notice the stability is getting worse near the pinky toe on the sole.

    Cheers!

Hehehe, that's an understatement...I've varies Vapor VI in different colors...the black Vapor VIs are more stiffer than the whites, imo...

yeah, it's based on demand. if a certain is bought more than another, it's priced higher.

Yeah, I am really jealous of some of the posters on here that live like 10 minutes away from a Nike outlet. Seriosuly, I would be in there every 3 days. They would know my name, especially since they have good percentage off deals for their clothing and interesting sale shoes sometimes. The Nike outlet by me (50 minutes away) basically never has any good tennis stuff. Just some boring Sphere polos from 3 years ago. That is why I call other outlets, pester them, and hope to find a good deal: $1.99 wristbands, $8.00 shorts, or $42 shoes for example.

    Cheers!

oh yeah, she is set for the summer (4 new skirts, 2 polos, 2 tees, a new tank, and a half-sleeve warm-up jacket), all for around $110. ALL OF IT NIKE TENNIS!!

FINALLY AN AWESOME DEAL IN NORTH JERSEY.

A pair of black/white BV's for $45. The tag said $67 back in the clearance section, but then when the cashier rang it up, she gave a bigger discount. Figure i wouldn't ask any questions and just pay the woman. ;)

    was it adidas outlet?
last year similar thing happen. the tag was $89.99 but their barcode system priced at $59.99 plus $20 off if you spend $100 so I got two barricades around that prices. employer knew the shoes were on sale for $59.99 but did not say it's on sale unless you ask them.
anyway warranty shoes under $50 are sweet deals ^__^

Saw two pairs of Black Red RF Vapor VI in 11.5 for $50 at Rugged Wearhouse yesterday in Knoxville, TN. Didn't buy them though, the last vapors I bought are OK, but I think my foots a little too wide.

They're still there if anybody wants them. :)

That's the deal I got in Allen, TX. The tag was $67 but they were red tagged so it was an additional 25% off. I shoulda bought 2 pairs. I called back trying to see if they still had them but they were gone within the week. No outlet where I am in TN so I ordered an Adidas gift card to order over the phone in case I find them in stock again. I ordered the Murray LE BVI's from a Euro website (supposed to ship in 14 days) thinking I may save the gift card for mii BV's or see if the white/black pop up late summer.

You can't beat $50 for a shoe with 6-month warranty, Been wearing mine exclusively since Feb. It's gonna be close but hard court outdoor 3-4 days a week should burn the sole out in the next 4 months.
