I thought you and I had a deal about importing stuff? LOL.

Got it at Total Sports, Cresta Mall.

Yeah, there is a cool Nike Store in the new section of Rosebank.

    It's just too much money.

Saving to get the NikeID 2K11's for christmas!

What happened to this thread? it used to be so bomb.

Well at Ross i found a tennis warm up jacket for 25
It's a classic looking one, not too eye appealing but it's loose so i love it, and the MSRP was 80 so good deal.

And i went to the Buffalo Exchange in Downtown Portland, picked up 2 n98 jackets there for 44 dollar for both

bought 2 more n98 jackets at Ross and at Marshalls

Marshalls and TJ Maxx and Ross all have a lot of nike combat stuff right now. I love the fitted ones, if you don't want them retail, you can find them cheap ish at those stores. :)

The outlet may have closed but the website has great deals - nadal and federer's 2011 wimbledon trainers for £35 and £27 respectively

Hey B A Y, if you're reading this, the Adidas Outlet at World Wear Centre on Beyers Naude (close to Cresta), has a pair of each of these for R800: The Barricade 6, The Barricade 6 Murray and the Barricade Team. It appears they have many sizes.

Best deals I've managed recently on new gear is the '11 AO Nadal jacket for $40 and the '11 AO Fearless Fuego crew for $20. If I really want something I'll get it regardless, but always feels best with 60% off when they have your sizes. I trust very few internet stores though (TW is the best), and have never used the big auction site - lot of fakes out there.

I also managed to pick up the 11 AO Fearless Fuego Crew, did you find that it ran a little larger? I normally wear a size medium but fit into a small with this crew

Ross has Adidas 6-3-1 Team CC (my research shows they're for Indoor Squash Racquetball Shoes) for 30usd.

Are they good for tennis? Notice the bigger than usual heel pad.

They will wear fast. Teammate used his Adidas Stabil squash shoes for tennis, wore like butter, unusable for squash.

I don't expect 30usd shoes to last me a year (but sometimes they do). As long as they're good in term of support, comfort, and I can always find them new and cheap. I like new looks! :)

Those soles are made for indoor hardwood courts, not outdoor asphalt courts, which chew up outsoles like there's no tomorrow. I'd be surprised if those shoes lasted more than a couple of weeks.

I shat a brick when I found the Rafa US Open 2010 (Lime/Black) Jacket in my size for 19.99 at TJ Maxx. I ran to the cashier with a stupid smile on my face! The same store also had the black crew he wore then, but in a size small, for 24.99, and a black/varsity purple/vibra blue N98 Jacket for 29.99. I didn't get either of them.

    TW europe.
    They had only 8 shoes.
    4 sizes, two of each.

I think hcb got last one. Actually I saw early but passed it because it was not my size.

Wrong, they had definately all sizes available, from 7.0 or 7.5 up to 11.5 or 12.
Some sizes were sold out after 20 mins though.

Yes, I did. At $20 apiece, I ended up selling it to my buddy who likes them looser and getting another one in small. Kind of ridiculous wearing a small when I'm about 5'11" and 175 but Nike's inconsistent sizing in their synthetic tennis shirts mean I have to do that sometimes, though I'm usually okay with a medium.

US '11 medium fits true to size as does the Wimby '11 medium, but the Fuego (AO11) and Tierra (FO11) mediums fit like a M/L.

Those look like his shoes for Halle 2010, hence the grasscourt sole. Nice find!

Got it from a personal seller from bay.. :)

Yes, I think it should be for Halle as the sole is for grasscourt and Fed didn't wear this colourway during wimbledon last year..

These are really interesting shoes. They are quite different to the French Open shoes he wore but a cool variation on the retail model.

They have the proper upper material of the LL Vapour Tour, but the wear guard on the toes and on the inside foot area is different to the retail model which was smooth and glued on, not stitched as your shoes. The wear guard on yours is the same as Federer's FO custom V6s.

Federer wore purely painted Vapour 6s which didn't have the plastic fit-frame. (yours do)

Likewise, while yours have custom outsoles on them they have the LL Vapour Tour midsole and trimming. Federer's custom shoes were different again. His had the V6 squared front edge on the black part of the outsole and also a white Nike logo on the bottom. His were also herringbone pattern while yours are grasscourt. So yours are different from retail and Fed customs.

The tongue says Lunarlon but the retail version of this colourway said Lunarlite as they hadn't got around the changing it at that stage. (I went through two pairs). Likewise, the retail model didn't have the RF logo on either the tongue or the back.

Also - although they are closer to his Halle shoes they're not the same as those either. The Halle shoes also squared V6 front of the outsole - plus the longer tongue which his shoes always have. They also didn't have the fitframe from the LL Vapour Tour which yours does.

In short: you have some seriously awesome shoes there. Very special and one of the best colourways. However they are basically the retail model with a different outsole and the RF logo added to the tongue/back.

    Some images for comparison:

    Nike logo on sole
    [IMG]

V6's more squared shaping of outsole (the black part)

His were custom V6s so no LL Vapour Tour fitframe as on yours
    [IMG]

Halle shoes - no LLVT fit-frame and you can see they have the V6 mid-sole cut (at the back where the white midsole line has a step in it where it meets the black outsole).

That surely is interesting.. Well, it is obviously different with the one Fed wore, mine is the customised retail version, so basically it is still Vapor 7 but customised to be similar with Fed's shoes.. Well, I am still not that familiar with Vapor shoes as this is the first time for me to collect Vapor shoes..

I know that Fed always wear Vapor 6, and this shoes is definitely Vapor 7.. I have Vapor 6 and 7, so I can differentiate them directly and they are totally not the same, so this shoe is Vapor 7.. There is also a card stating that the shoes are "Promotional", and there is also "Sample Request", with the model name as Lunar Vapor Tour RF Grass, etc.. Last, on the box, it has totally different tag with those on retail shoes box.. So I can say that it is not the exact RF shoes but the RF customised version of Vapor 7..

You can see the inside of the tongue:-

    The Card:-

    This is the box:-

Well, I just got it from a private seller from bay UK.. I am not sure how that person got it, but I think he bought it from local tennis store.. I think, it is best to say that I was lucky to find this shoes.. I don't think that I can find another pair though..

Well we can tell from googling the name on the info sheet that Howard Banich is a Senior Development Engineer at Nike in the USA and Kylie Martin is a Nike Sports Marketing Category Coordinator for Europe, Middle East & Africa - based in the Netherlands.

Not overly useful info but might help decipher the source of the shoes.
