How come auction end date is June 26, 2015 when it's only May now ?

It's good to see some members still trying to collect the classics. Years such as 2009 are some of the all-time great designs.

I will likely sell a couple of the shirts pictured in the future. Definitely during a Slam period.

I managed to find Rafa's USO 2013 kit on the bay, in my size as well! Cost just over a hundred bucks total (not including shipping). Very pleased

I also just found the 2009 Nadal Pink french open polo for $29.

Not bad, and today it seems fitting to mention it.

If anything Rafa's older stuff will get more and more collectible.

    Especially when he retires.

Many of the throwback shoes IMO are just built for fashion. Back in the day they gave you the best available court performance but tech has improved for the most part. I like that you can get these shoes still. Unfortunately the Sneaker Head society needs have the prices up there...

Am I the only one who has never once found any tennis merchandise at a Marshall's, TJ Maxx, or the like?

It's really hit and miss. I found a bunch of the NewBalance shoes there but none in my size. Got a pair of Gel Solution speeds and a bunch of Head clothing.

I had the original II back in the days when I was a pre-teen, it wasn't all that bad, from what I can remember.

Also, found tons of Nadal hats at TJ Maxx for $12.99, and no takers...

edit: just saw your location is MD, no wonder I haven't seen those.

Really, when was this? Would love to get those. My daughter thinks the Nadal logo looks just like jack links beef jerky lol. No one wants a beef jerky hat!

So again thanks to this thread I went to TJ in search of a Nads hat. They had 1, just 1 in white. So I bought it. Super light and (some would say 'flimsy' for $30msrp) perfect for our hot ***** summer. Wish it was a different color but oh well.

Wonder if any Fed stuff will show up - need a new Fed hat.

I found this on an Argentinian online store:

Is the shirt loose or tight? Or just normal/average size?

Is this tennis? i can't remember if i saw an adidas rep wearing it or not but didn't pick it up
    [IMG]
    Ross had these for 14.99[IMG]

Marshalls had some of the hard brimmed featherlight hats (my favorite) in non-boring colors. (missed out on red went to go back to get it and it was gone) as well as a rafa floppy brimmed hat.[IMG][/URL[IMG]

And for the best find was a pair of ballistics in womens size 11(mens 9.5). Would of kept them for myself but I'm sadly a mens 12. The color way looks like mens or women to me. they were 59.99 and 20% off of that price. I would of also gotten the nike warranty so if i used them up I could of got two pairs for under 30 each.[IMG]

Nice finds at Marshalls/Ross/Burlington/TJMaxx. Maybe they're getting stuff back in. Tennis has been hit and miss lately, mostly miss, so it would be nice to see them back in the swing.

you guys that are coming up with these great finds on the shoes, are they in a tennis section or are you just spotting them out in a sea of various other types of shoes? I go there and they have the aisles split up by sizes and there are all these athletic shoes but it seems like it would be hard to find one specific shoe. I think I get distracted by all the nice colors on the athletic shoes haha

right and man that sucks! I haven't really found anything good yet...which is probably good since I'm trying to save money. I have bought quite a few shirts since I got back into tennis sometime in late '12. Hoping to get the two most recent Vapor 9.5 colorways a little bit cheaper than they are now. Liking the Djokovic 7s on TWE. Hoping not to buy any clothing in the near future.

Anyway, will have to hit up these stores again and hope for better luck. While I just said it's probably good I'm not finding anything, I know I don't really mean that :D
