    Great question. This sounds like a really good setup. I'm not sure which I'd put in the mains though...

    It would play like Big Banger Timo 18, except softer.

    That's how hybrids work, dude.

    ...only if you put BB in the mains.

    and it would also have more power and probably less topspin.

    Definately softer though.

    try technifibre nrg 18 in the mains and timo bb in the crosses its very very good!

    Well for the most part, that's a given.

    Most people put the more durable string on the mains since it's the one that takes the most damage (notching and fraying), and the softer string on the crosses.

    There wouldn't be any change in spin potential. Crosses don't make spin. Period. (EXCEPT for extreme cases of side spin but you'd have be using some totally wacky techniques).
