Watching Queens ATP today I noticed Nicolas Mahut is playing with quite an obvious paintjob of a BLX 95. I could not find a picture of it but here is a picture of the same racquet with a KFactor paintjob instead.

That would pass more as a decent pj of the blade 98 than the six one 95.

That sounds like a comment from some who was not expecting to see this kind of thread in a pro players gear section!

No.... its just that it is Mahut. Who cares (how is he even still sponsored for that matter?)

Did he get in a fight with a lawnmower, i have checked youtube but there have not been videos of it :(

To Me it looks kind of like a 16x19 Blade Mid. He used the Pro Staff 85 years ago. After that he was using the Pro Staff 6.0 95 for a little bit and a Tour 90.

I was really impressed by Mahut the other day. He's really smooth and hits a great ball. He reminds me of Boom-Boom, but a little slower and without the big weapons. I'm surprised he's 140-something in the world. If I were to model my strokes after someone, it would probably be him.

Hmm yeah the "BLX" one looks abit like a Blade but the "Kfactor" one doesn't... Anyhow I would really like a blade with 16x19 pattern!

Yeah he plays a nice game with some good looking strokes and has nice hands in front of the net too.

It was quite a let off when he lost to Roddick in the 2007 Queens final after having match point. He really deserved that title, but Roddick managed to best him.

To me the K-Factor also looks like a Blade Mid with 16x19 string pattern.

The guy got to the finals of Queens a few years ago and is a decent player at times. Obviously the guy who made the thread cares and wanted to know and it is actually intriguing as no one is sure.

Yeah I remember that, he was diving around on the grass for the whole week! Roddick just served amazing that day.

I have to agree it does look like a Blade from that angle.
