    I was wondering how much of a change it makes to switch the string on the mains with the string on the crosses in a hybrid.
    Mains= Gamma TNT2
    Crosses= Babolat Xcel Power
    Both are 16 gauge. The reason is I have only 19 ft left of TNT2 and 22 ft left of Xcel Power, so I could change them, but I don't know the effect it will have on the playability or how much it will change the response from the string bed.
    Any help?

    You've tried this set-up and it feels better switched? I don't really understand your response...

    oh, sorry. Well, what I mean is that I'm guessing that it'll play like a combination of the two, except that the characteristics of the mains will be more prevalent. I havent personally tried it or plan to

    I use Babolat tonic in the mains instead of the crosses b/c I found that if I used the Tonic in the crosses it sort of sawed through whatever I put in the mains very quickly. It taught me that its better to put the string with more "bite" in the mains than in the crosses for durability.
