I just got my first sample pack of MANTIS string as a sponsored player.
    It includes the following:
    1 Comfort Poly 16g
    1 Power Poly 17g
    1 Comfort Synthetic 16g
    1 Power Synthetic 17g
1 Pack of grips (performa tac)
    1 Stencil

I will be reviewing all of the strings in detail along with the grips as a reference for all those who are interested in MANTIS strings and grips.

I play with a Microgel Prestige MP, strung at 58lbs, and an 18x20 string pattern.

Let me know if you want to know anything specific!

Not sure. I just submitted my information, a friend of mine applied recently and was denied. He has better rankings and a better record than me. So that is pretty confusing.

I tried the Power Polyester today in a Kpro Open, I normally use black code.
A quick summary would be that I found it a bit like luxilon alu power, but crisper? Got a lot of power from it, and spin however I found it a bit harder to hit flat than normal and keep control (Black code is less powerful) probably because it is more powerful however I really liked it. I only tried it quickly though, so cant really review properly.

I am sure gino's review will be much better :D

Alright thanks I'll try it. How long does it take them to assess it? And do you get it free? or is there still some paying involved?

Edit: I just submitted my application. How do they contact you and what's your ranking?
