    If was only the very faintest of glances off the very top edge of the net. So faint that no one even noticed. It's not like he crashed through the entire net chasing down a short ball.

    Rules are rules but they are only there because you can't fairly distinguish between the two without introducing subjectivity.

    I don't understand the point the OP is making other than he can't read and hasn't been following Wimbledon.
