Any memories any one? I used to wear Diadora Mulligans back early 80s. It would be good to hear stories.

Super back story going from OZ and a top player and then becoming Italian and Italy's top player in the late 60s. Has been the marketing face for FILA for years and years and I first met him when I was a young player looking to get gear....met him got to play with him a few times more recently at some corporate events and at Newks when he drops by for some of the legends events. He still lives in the Bay Area, was he Davis Cup captain during their most susscesful run in the late 70s - had to put up with tons of drama but from 75 until 80 Italy was a power in Davis Cup. Typical Aussie with great attitude and smooth game.

Auussie tennis was so dominant in the 1960´s, that even second stringers - for Australian standarts- like Mulligan reached a Wimbledon final.Laver often mentions Mulligan during his 1962 ride at the Grand Slam.
