Tennis channel is reviewing Wimbledon Upsets. Specifically they were mentioning

    2003 - 1st Round - Karlovic(203) beat Hewitt (1)
2002 - 2nd round Bastl (lucky loser, 245) beats Sampras
    1996 - 1st Round Doug Flach (260) beat Agassi (3)
    1987 - 2nd Round Peter Doohan(70) beat Becker

She mentioned Rosol's upset was only matched by Bastl.

She said 'Flach , Ken Flach was a good player, had a decent ranking'. She had Doug Flach confused with the doubles grand slam specialist Ken Flach.

I thoght Martina was one who knew history well. Apparently not.

I havent noticed Johny Mac make any mistakes.. What about others ?

Doug Flach was the younger brother of Ken Flach.

Other big early round Wimbledon upsets were Srichaphan beating Agassi in 2002, and Kachel beating Ashe in 1979. Also DuPre beating Gerulaitis in 1979. Oh, and the biggest of all was probably Brown (world number 591) beating Ivanisevic (world number 10) in 1991.

Wow, Martina got Doug Flach mixed up with his older brother Ken. Do they still use torture racks in England?
