I just got the Federer vs Sampras 2001 match. Sweeet!

Anyways, what's the point of paying them so much when I can't watch them play. It's all about the details, not the score!

Yeah I just downloaded that and watched it last night. What a great match, I'd forgotten how exciting it was, and close it got. Fed's serve is incredible!

You could also check http://tennis.fisma.net/download Username: TennisGuest Password: samsa. It uses a weird authentication method, so it will only work with Internet Explorer.

    Holy smokes.

    Thanks guys!

Should I build a web site for matches and other stuff?

I don't bother Googling when it's full of crap. Two full days of searching for tennis stuff that only deliver by UPS to Canada... grrrr

  9. That online stuff is pretty cool, but it takes too long to download and the video quality is not that great for seeing the ball.

I'd rather just email Splink from these boards or go to

    tennis dvd

Then you get good quality on DVD that you can watch anytime.
I know that the ravenhawks guy ships to Canada and lots of other countries too. I have a whole library of matches that looks pretty impressive. My friends definitely get jealous when they see all of my Federer matches.

Are there matches filmed by spectators?

I hate it when they only show the game from the top. I can't see how high or how fast the ball goes.

You cannot play a torrent file. A torrent file is just a tiny little file that is useless on it's own.
You need to make sure you have a program like Azureus first.
You boot up Azureus and then search for the torrent files - there are loads of sites for this:
    http://www.torrentspy.com/
    http://thepirat****.org/
    http://isohunt.com/
    http://www.bitenova.org/
    http://www.mybittorrent.com/
    ...to name a few.

You then take your torrent file and drop it onto the Azureus interface. Then it will find the actual file of the tennis match and start downloading it.

I have downloaded over 100GB of matches, some good quality, some bad.
Most recently I got the Fed v Sampras and Roddick vs Baggy at the Aus Open - both good matches.

    Have fun ;)

does Azerus work well for you? cause for me, if I used it it took all my RAM and slowed down my PC a lot!
I think BitComet is way better in that regard...at least for me ;)
P.S.: http://www.sladinki007.net/index.php?showforum=139 this side is great for sport torrents esp. tennis, but you have to register first - it's message board for torrents :)

    Give "mu torrent" a try.
    http://www.utorrent.com/

  20. You should be hitting a lot faster download speeds with DSL in any client. Althought, it can depend on how many people are seeding (other people sharing the file and currently on line).

If you have a router, you may need set up some port forwarding. Try utorrent and view the help files regarding port forwarding.

Download Tennis DVDS... not just Divx / Xvids

I was wondering if anyone could inform me where I can download tennis DVDs... not just the compressed Divx or Xvid avi files... I have about 6 matches on DVD and am interested in getting more. If anyone wants to trade with me feel free to message me. Here's what I have so far:

Year Event Match Players No. of Discs
2005 Davis Cup QF Nalbandian vs. Hewitt 1
2005 US Open QF Agassi vs. Blake 2
2006 Nasdaq 100 Open Final Federer vs. Ljubicic 2
2001 US Open Final Sampras vs. Agassi 2
2006 Dubai Open Final Federer vs. Nadal 1
1980 US Open Final Borg vs. McEnroe 2

I just wanted to let everyone know that my dvd recorder is now up and running again (after being down this past year)
I have received at least 100 emails from various board members during that time requesting matches and wnated everyone to know that I am operational.
    thanks, JS
