May National Opens anyone else thinks that the field in all the age groups was weak?

Yes it was extremely weak in most of the fields. I think that the may one is tough because it comes at a weird time for kids with school.

It looked like in two of the four National Opens for 14's the top seeds were ranked in the 60's in the country. That's pretty weak. The other two Nationals featured a stronger field, especially the one in Maryland where all seeded players were inside the top 100.

It could be due to the time of the year, towards the end of the school year.

According to your logic (economy maybe?) weaker players have more money and are better off economically????:???:

It is I guess, the only reason I played is cause it was really close to my home.
