Does anyone know where to look for a good stringing machine to buy in Melbourne, Australia? don't tell me to look at TW Australia, already have checked all the shops around melbourne.

While we're on the subject, how did you guys find your stringing machines? did you find them by chance through another stringer selling an old one? I have talked to multiple shop owners and they dont know anyone selling theirs privately.

I walked into a shop and there was a dead Star5 sitting in a strange place. I asked if they wanted to sell it since they also had a Bariado and two other Sensors that worked and I got very lucky.

I have a Pro Master machine, now distributed by xtremesportsmachines dot com . They are in Australia. xtremesportsmachines have great customer support as well. When I needed a new LCD screen and touchpad they shipped it out to me very fast and I am in USA.
Like I said I have the Pro Master. That's been a great machine, and now they have the Pro Master GT (wish I had that one) , that has an elevating tension head, and an automatic brake that would make O Ports even more simple. Its a good company and its in your own back yard.

I think these guys are in Sydney, but you might also want to check out jadeesports dot com dot au. I live in the states, but while in Sydney for an extended stay I ordered some spare parts from them. They carry a brand called Spinfire, which looks to be a lily-lee product, like pro's pro, and eagnas.

Spinfire is a brand name owed by Tennis Warehouse Australia (or the guy that owns it anyhow). Speak to Tennis Gear in Brisbane, met those guys when I visited there, they were good people.
    Xtreamesports are in Melbourne

I haven't had very good experiences with spinfire. plus their machines don't seem to be very good quality to me. Thanks for the advice though!

to be fair, i was borrowing my mate's spinfire flame dropweight and it wasn't very well taken care of. I guess i just lack confidence in using non-electronic machines. Spinfire machines also seem a bit tacky to me.

Anyway, I got lucky and came across a shop which had an extra machine that a customer brought in who wanted to sell. It was a Klip Powerdrive machine in fantastic condition so i got it straight away! Super happy with that find.
