mtch point marinko LOL ROMEO=FAIL!
lol I've been winning huge lately.
Are you from the US? Where do you bet?
You can tell how unimportant this tournament is to the players by looking at the semis on the top half of the bracket. Dolgo ruined my big bet for tomorrow. Nishi will be too high against Matosevic.
I bet on 5dimes.
And you make a living from this? Where can I go to learn about betting intelligently, I'd love to get into it.
Delish took the first set
Please, american tennis, disappoint me more
Michael Russell hitting the ball as hard as he can every time and hoping it stays on the court.
The organizers must be thrilled with that line-up.
Istomin to win the title? Or nishikori?
yep - istomin/nishikori final. I like both players, prefer istomin but i think kei will win it
Istomin down an early break to Lopez...
wont be a problem. just means a better price. playing a guy he never beat before just nervous to begin. istomin is the one in form here
Nishikori for the title.
Now down 2 breaks. WTF?
Lopez regaining some form, nice. Hope he can maintain it throughout the season.
We may be going 3 sets here.
Istomin was up 0-40 on Lopez's serve and didn't break.
Lopez up 5-2 in the 3rd set. Looking pretty good this match.
Nice win for Lopez. Took out an in form Istomin.
Lopez in the final? Gee, this is Nishi's to lose now. Still hilarious how much stronger the field is in Marseille. Shocking the winner of Memphis will get 500 points.
More money, more points
Hey Erakovic with her first title. Retirement win maybe bittersweet but congrats.
Literally hadn't even considered this, but with their respective fields, it is laughable.
Why did Lisicki retire? I didn't notice anything obvious as far as an injury.
You're right, it's ridiculous.
Nishikori has the possibility to gain a lot of points in the upcoming couple of months. Last year he played Buenos Aires and only won 45 points. After that he played Acapulco (again 45 pts), Indian Wells (10 pts), Miami (90 pts), Monte Carlo (90 pts), Barcelona (90 pts).
During Barcelona he got injured and didn't play until Wimbledon. So he missed out on Madrid, Rome and RG.
I don't want to jinx anything.. but if he keeps on playing well and doesn't get injured we could see him rise in the rankings (maybe nearing or entering the top 10?)
Poor Lisicki was crying again
He's a top 10 player in terms of ability, so here's hoping!
she said she'd been sick for a couple of days before the final.
btw, did anyone else hear that this was the last time memphis indoor will have a wta tournament?
That is true, no more WTA starting next year. The men's will also drop to 250 instead of 500, as Rio will be taking it next year
i know everything changes but i'm a little sad to hear this. my wife and i lived in memphis for the first couple years after we got married so we always looked forward to the indoors there every feb. i know there's still gonna be a tourney there for the men but getting bumped down to a 250 means it probably won't attract the names like it used to.
I don't think there will be much of a change in the caliber of players playing. Most of the guys who will play the North American hard court swing will still play Memphis. Look at Delray and San Jose this year, the field is not very different from Memphis.
so many retirements in these tournaments...
that makes me happy!
