Who do you think will win this years Australian Open. I made another poll since a poll without Murray at this point is dumb.

Just cant go against Fed in a slam(other than French) until he has a year where he goes without a slam.

hmmmm. One guy who sucks on hardcourts, and the other who got smashed in the last Slam final.

    I'll go with Agassi.

Still Federer. Murray has a good chance to do it, but he hasn't proved enough he can beat the best guys in the Slams, except his win over Nadal in the semis last year at the USO.

The last slam was also his first. He could pull a "Djokovic", no?

I hope Andy Murray wins it. It'll make this season one of the best in a long time.

He's my pick for AO champion.

dont know why ppl say nadal has NO chance.. hes still the 4th favourite to win it isnt he?? someone like santoro or stepenak are the ones that have no chance.

I voted roddick just coz. but really i think murray, fed have the biggest chance to take it.

Of course you were. Everyone knows Nadal doesn't have a chance, so why would you be putting him in the same field as guys who can actually play on hard courts.

Davydenko is never going to win a slam. Rankings do lie. Shooting star finalist is most likely Gulbis. This is probably gonna be the first year in a while where 2 of the top 4 seeds are in the final. Probably not Djokovic, he's stalled.

Federer or Murray. Tough call. I have a feeling they will both end up in the same half of the draw.

    3rd pick would be Djokovic...

I think either Federer or Nadal has the best chance of winning down under. The competition is even tougher this year with Murray, Djokovic, Del Potro and Simon all playing at higher levels then before. Also you can't count out Tsonga for his performance last year down under and in Paris. Also you have Roddick, Davydenko, Blake, and Ferrer among others who could also make big runs down under. Its going to be very interesting to see what unfolds.

Don't mind Drak, he's fooling around. Of course Nadal has a chance. I would put him among the 3 contenders this year (Fed, Murray and Nadal IMO are the favorites). Everybody else (Tsonga, Gulbis, Davy, Roddick and even Djoko) are outsiders at this point.

I voted Murray but this Aussie Open feels like it's wide open for anyone to take, then again that's the same thing I said at the 08 USO and Fed won again, lol.

I am a diehard Nadal fan, but I feel so bad for Fed having mono and losing so many grand slams last year. I'm rooting for Fed, but I think Murray has this one.

It's amazing all the Nadal diehard fans on this board rooting hard for his opponents , makes you wonder who they would be rooting for if they were not Nadal fans...

Amazing. I wasn't a member then, but Nadal was World No. 1, yet only 2 knew he would win!!!

70% + of the people who voted were wrong??

Just goes to show....so many people on here quote their opinion as fact, seems to me that some need to lighten up!

    ;)

Thanks for reviving this thread. It shows plainly and clearly how much drakulies and goreckis of this life know about tennis. Maybe they should find some i-resource about the basics of tennis before they continue trolling in these forums.

I Rather have imperfect English than having poor judgement(e.g. losing in the 3rd round is FAR worse than in the final).:)

Funny how many people thought Murray would win, and how few people thought Rafa would win.
