Nice reference. He seems to stop short of saying (maybe I missed it) that when you run around a BH to hit a FH, you have effectively turned an outside ball into an inside ball and this gives you options on your targets.
I will have to review it again. Perhaps you are right. Me personally? I think when you run around the backhand, you have the option, depending on where the ball lands on your side and how quickly you can get around the ball, to go either direction. But hey, I am a lefty and we always think a little outside the box.
