dear mf300 fans and users..is there any difference in playing with Maxply Mcenroe? i am Mfil 300 user and consider of getting this Maxply stick since it has such a cheap price and different cosmetic.
i can hit well bh and fh with mf300, serves too it's not a problem...my question is can i do the same with the maxply?
there's only 2 left in the store, so i need quick feedback asap.

the swingweight and stiffness level is different though..could it effect my game if i play with those racquets alternately?

thx in advance guys

Never hit w/it myself. A friend tried the Maxply and more or less echoed what superstition said...needs a soft string, low tension. Felt pretty stiff to him...

What I find odd, though, is that so many people talk about the stiffness of the McEnroe but the Pure Drive is stiffer. I don't see as many people telling others not to get the Pure Drive because of its stiffness.

If you like the 300, the McEnroe will seem stiffer. I've demoed both. IMO, it was stiffer and lighter swinging and I'd spend the extra $'s for the 300 over the McEnroe.

Well, I've seen a lot of posts here over the years telling people to avoid Babolats and warning about arm problems due to stiffness...

But, Dunlop users are more used to more flexy racquets in general (at least those of us using the lower-numbered versions like the 200 and 300) so that might drive more warnings about stiffness. :)

thx for the replies guys. seems like i might stay away from the mcenroe since it's too stiff and stick with my mf300. but the price is cheap though. it's so tempting to get one.

i hit with the 300 yesterday and liked it a lot. very solid all around. if i didn't have so many sticks already--i'd give them a shot as they are already pretty cheap and on sale everywhere...

another friend demo'ed the mcenroe and could not stand it. i hit with it for a minute and i was neutral on the stick. i thought it was ok--but would not spend the money (even on sale) to make it my primary stick...
