Are you crazy ??? A 40 year old Chang would wipe the floor of a prime Sugiyama, and I doubt she could stay until 5 sets. Is this some kind of troll or something ?

I guess the OP hasn't watched any Chang matches. But...why Chang? He wasn't big but was one of the smartest and competitive players in his days.

    Chang in straights

Michael Chang is only 34 years old, hes still very young. If they both played, Chang would rip Ai apart in straight sets. I dont even think Ai would win 3 games from him. With Michael Changs speed and fitness, it would be no match for Ai Sugiyama.

Maybe that's why: "Well, he looks like someone a woman could beat."

But what's really strange is why it's Chang vs. Sugiyama. Because they're both Asian?

Why not Chang vs. JHH, or Serena, or Dementieva? Or Jaime Yzaga vs. someone from the WTA?

I'm tired of a female bashing threads already. Ok, you want more of this ? I can make more of this. Let's say who will win, Sugar ray Robinson vs Laila Ali ?

in 1992, there was a challenge match between Jimmy Connors (40 yrs old) and Martina Navratilova (36 yrs old) .

    The rules were:

Connors could only serve once (no 2nd serve) and he had to play the single court area.

Navratilova could serve twice (1st and 2nd serves) and she could play the double court area.

    Connors defeated Navratilova 7-5, 6-2

Michael would lose in straight sets being captivated by Ai's beauty.

Whao, I never knew Jimmy was that good ! A double court is one hell of an area to cover, you know.
