Mirra Andreeva Nike Shoes

As discussed in the NIKE 2024 GENERAL THREAD, Mirra Andreeva (мирра андреева) appears to be wearing a custom or future concept Nike shoe.

Anybody have an idea of this shoe andreeva is practicing in?

The swoosh is really throwing me off, it does not look as high as the VP11 is off the ground

Very interesting. Don’t think it’s the Vapor 11 as you can tell by the swoosh and lacing. Could be a new shoe for 2025?

Guess I was right this is a VP12, it also could be a vp3?

not looking good

they wont wear this model. it has the v11/vp2 outsole and upper construction of the v11, they've both tested the v11 and opted not to use it

can't imagine them wanting to use a shoe that is in essence the same as the v11

That is very true, I hope the other model that comes out other than this is light and is more zoom zero/vapor x ish. I think the reason the shoes have gotten heavier is due to the fact that people are getting fatter so they cannot wear light shoes.

Got to watch her hit on Monday. For a 16 year old, shes got a great kick serve! You can really see the action and curve on the ball. Definitely some good upside.

Is it just me or does it look like they have removed some of the caging from the midsole? That would be a very good start to a revision of the v11.

can you upload photos to here?
No. It has to be hosted elsewhere. Like imgbb or x. I use x.
Q: I want to post pictures in my thread, I have no clue how to go about doing this, any advice?

A: Sure! Provided you know how to take pictures and get them on your PC, here is what you need to do.

  1. With your pictures on your computer, please ensure they are sized appropriately (~800x600 is a good resolution). Also ensure they are in a web-friendly format, such as .jpg, jpeg, gif, (and less common .png). RAW photo data, or BMPs are NOT encouraged, as they are uncompressed, and take up a lot more space.
  2. After resizing and compressing (into .jpg or .gif), upload your photos to some sort of host. If you do not have your own, personal web space, I suggest using free photo uploaders such as http://imageshack.us, http://imgur.com, or http://www.photobucket.com - These sites offer free hosting for your photos, as well as instructions on how to access them through other sites.
  3. When inside your thread, click the "insert picture" button using the editor.
A pop up window will appear, asking you for the "URL" of your picture. If you are using your own webhost, insert the address of your picture. If you are using a free uploading site, such as photobucket, or imageshack, insert the URL that was provided to you.
  4. If you inserted the URL correctly, the image should show up when you hit "OK."

Tada. I meant it when I said I would disect lol. But doing this I found something interesting. This looks different enough from any model past or present to be a another vapor 11. Instead, I think it could be a vapor 12 or 11.5. It has the same caging, but in a different formation that overall creates similar durability, and greater flexibility as you see in photos above. I also see a toe drag guard implemented, which was the biggest turnoff for my in the vapor 11 because I use it so much. I see a major change in the shape of the Chassey or sidewall on the side Aswell, as you see. It indents like the vapor cage 4, and overall looks much integrated, instead of a separate feature. Speaking of integrated, i also see a better lockdown. It has a vapor 9.5 setup with 2 additional eyelids for much more lockdown. Interestingly they seem to go with the same design in the outsole which makes me think of such an idea of a vapor 11.5. "overall, I see a continues plot of events showing Nike is putting a lot of thought and rehauling into this actually. This lacing system looks very similar to the 9.5 shoes released before, and little things like wavy textures and drag guards, Aswell as better interpretations of technologies used before all in one, lead me to beleive we are heading in the right direction. exciting!
