Just strung my PST90 and looked at it and I've missed the first cross and whats worse is that is at the throat and is also a rather nice Tecnifibre XR3, my only set of it atm. Erm?

If it's your personal frame and you don't care, keep it as is. If you're stringing for a customer, redo it with something else and beg forgiveness that you wasted their nice string.

just my frame, its a new racquet to me so I don't want to put any undue stresses on the frame but I don't suppose it would.

You could do the "ole three piece" stringing job, if you did it two piece. If you can tie off, you could just add the missing cross.

Was one piece which I think makes the mistake even worse.

I would find a piece of string that was left over and add the bottom cross. Add a few pounds to the tension of the patch.

I'm playing this evening, what should I do, play with it like it is? Not sure I've got anywhere good to tie off a patch.

it wont make a difference, the bottom cross on the PST90 is awful low anyway, my friend actually asks me to skip the bottom cross on his k90

Hit with it today. Change it out at your earliest convenience. That was you don't totally waste the string :)

What you strung bottom up on your crosses !?

If you contact the ball that low in the string bed, your shot is already askew.
I have had players who drop the bottom cross with no ill effects. It makes the string bed slightly softer.
