I had some poly laying around and an hour to kill so I decided to try something different.

I strung up my old Prince Graphite Pro 90 @ 30lb mains and 50lb crosses. Going to hit with it tonight and update. I don't even have a clue as to what I think it's going to play like. I'll update if anyone is interested.

I could be wrong but I think that is going to put a lot of pressure on the sides of the frame. Equal (or near equal) tension of the mains and crosses would be much better IMHO.

That thought crossed my mind, but i figured i would experiment anyway. It's a 30 yr old frame and I can get another one for under $50 if it cracks.

Hit for about three hours last night:

Serves - a little mushy. tons of spin. great kick. easy to get the 2nd deep
Groundstrokes - solid feeling. tons of spin. Had the feeling I could hit as hard as I wanted most of the time.
Volleys - solid, but not what I would call crisp.

Overall - nice power. great spin. fairly arm friendly.
