I used to own 2 different models back in the day (mid 1990's).
I forget the names of the models but one was white, black and red and had a square shaped cross section of the beam. I believe Amy Frazier was a pro that was using that model. I gave my Mizunos to my brother who plays tennis on a recreational level, but I wished I hadn't!

When did Mizuno stop making tennis racquets?

Also I have tried to google old Mizuno models but have been unsuccessful in finding any pictures. Can anyone help? Perhaps I should look on e*b*a*y also.

They still make some Mizuno rackets in Japan, but other than that, I don't know where to find them.

The one you have is the Pro 8.9. Decent frame, graphite and Dyneema fibres in it. I preferred the stiffer 9.1 or more flexy 8.1. Early 100" frames too no less. One of the densest 16 x 18 patterns you'll ever see as well.

I have two original Mizuno's ProMS21 Rim Injection Made in Japan in two different string patterns, they belong to a former top 10 female player, they are red with no pallet system or foam, the stick is one piece like the kneissls. anyone play with them or knows which player I am talking about?

    Dave,

I believe you have the Pro 8.9. I used that frame for a while and liked it a lot. Plays a lot like the Yamaha Secret EX that Gaby Sabatini used. If it is white with only red and black up top, it's the Pro 8.9. If it also has a little gold up top, it's the Pro 9.2, which was the top of line in that series. A little stiffer and more powerful than the 8.9, and I believe heavier. Probably not worth a lot. I've bought 8.9's and 9.2's on the big auction site many times and never paid over $50 for frames in excellent condition, though they are getting harder to find.

They also made a staggered string model, similar to the Prince series.
