I hit with the TW Bosworth Monica Seles Yonex Super RQ-500 today and it was a monster (in the positive sense) frame. Labelled 15% stiffer by TW than a normal SRQ-500, it is wider at mid-head. It Weighs 12.6 oz. and is head heavy. Very, very powerful.

Was this frame unique to Seles? Did any men play with it? This racquet is a heavy swinging puppy. I think most women who said they played with it used PJ's that were thin beamed. I don't remember any men who played with it. Best for flat shots or shots with little spin.

For what it is worth: this was supposed to be the racquet she used in 1995. It is about 27.25" in length.

    What's headsize of this racquet?

You are right about it being a heavy swinging puppy!

Seles NEVER used SRQ500. Until playing with SRQ700 and then SRQ1000 in early 1998 she always played with RQ380. Later with paintjob from SRQ500.

I modeled my game around Seles. Any way you'd be willing to sell this? TW ran out when I tried to order.

My daughter has 4 std length SRQ - 500
    105 head size......great stick....

Very hard to find grommets....but just got em all restrung for the season...and they are hanging in there.

If they were a little heavier like the Bosworth you describe they would be beasts.

I can't hit with the retail stick for more than a few swings....way too light for me.

Her frames were built up to withstand the ultra high string tensions she used.
