More Annoying: Gangnam Style or Harlem Shake?

Which is the more annoying trend, meme, whatever you want to call it: Gangnam Style or Harlem Shake? Earlier, I would have said Gangnam Style just because the whole thing is so stupid (an old man dancing like a horse is what passes for being "funny" today...really?) but this Harlem Shake thing has been so overdone within the space of a week and a half that I might have to give HS the nod for dumbest fad of 2013. Gangnam Style at least was spread out over a month and a half or so and I didn't have to sift through hundreds of morons posting their version of it on Facebook like I do with the Harlem Shake.

Thoughts on this very important issue?

They're both pretty bad. Except for the Miami Heat Harlem Shake....Lebron made that one.

I honestly enjoy Gangnam Style. Even now I can still watch the vid and not get tired of it.
About the Harlem Shake, I don't think it'll last long, as least nothing close to GS.

    I like this version:

I'm going with Harlem shake as the less annoying of the two because the videos are only about 30 seconds long.

The current harlem shake trend is awful, worst than Gangnam because they took something cool and destroyed it. what's sad is that so many people outside of the states don't even know the original...

What do people in Harlem think (worth watching, especially towards the end)?

This part is where they show you the 'proper' harlem shake:

    that' not right, b.

The Harlem at least seems a bit more creative.

True, they're both annoying, but they have a place I think.

Some of the sports teams who post up a 30 second clip for fans are funny, for now. Manchester City have done the best one so far, but the Miami Heat's from a few days ago was pretty good. Chalmers, Cole and of course Jesus Shuttleworth going for it was worth watching :)

Never enjoyed Gangnam Style at all. Have gotten a few laughs from some Harlem Shake vids.

Gangnam style has some musical merit and was done in a clearly self-depreciating, non-serious fashion - and very well too, even if you happen to dislike it musically.

The recent Harlem Shake fad had almost no musical merit imo... just another viral video-spawning joke of the month fodder.

Gangnam Style, the original and all its various adaptations, still has the power to amuse me.

I don't understand the Harlem Shake trend at all. That doesn't mean it "annoys" me, though. The videos look fun to make, but I don't understand why anyone watches them.
