    I still remember watching the Safin match, not believing what he was doing to Pete. Never saw anyone so destroy Pete. Blew him off the court that day.

    What we can take away from this thread is that Pete thrived in a weak era. Fed blew both those clowns away (actually all 3).

    Watching old tape of Sampras makes me realize that Pete is Federer lite. Never thought I would say that. The backhand just is not there.
