More Powerful and Comfortable? V1 Classic or BB London

I'm currently playing with the V1 Classic and I really enjoy it with Tour Bite Soft at 45-47 lbs. However, I believe it's giving me elbow pain (TE at first...now GE). I'm considering trying the London in hopes that I can play with TBS and keep some of the aspects I like of the V1 (i.e. plush feel, bonus power, stability) and maybe avoid a few mis-hits with the London's thin beam. Questions:

Which is more powerful, the V1 or the London?

Which is more comfortable?

I know the V1 is heralded as comfortable....but with a 69 stiffness & sub-11 0z weight, I'm starting to believe the Big Grommets and the sensor handle tech can only do so much to offset physics. I'm hoping the London's slightly higher weight and flex could help.

Thanks!

Before concluding that the cause is due to frame, I would change out the strings first, to something like RIP Control or POSG. 2 cents.

Comfort is many things to many different players... unfortunately.

If you can swing both frames at the same rate, the heavier option ought to be more powerful. If you're having chronic elbow issues though, I strongly agree with our pal esgee48. Get some softer stings regardless of what racquet you decide to use. The arm-friendly aspect of any frame can be quickly undone when strung with poly.

I agree, take some time off to heal the TE/GE and change the strings. I've had the V1 Classic foe years and never ever had an issue with TE/GE. That is one of the reasons I like that racquet so much.

Such different frames, London is a forgiving, comfortable players racket with good control, great feel and decent power&spin. V1 is much more comfortable and powerful.
