I thought it would be interesting to compare the primes of the great players and titles won. I have defined primes as the 5 consecutive years with the most titles.

    Connors (73-77) - 55
    Federer (03-07) - 49
    Borg (76-80) - 48
    Lendl (82-86) - 45
    McEnroe (80-84) - 44
    Sampras - (93-97) - 39
    Nadal (05-09) - 35
    Djokvoic (08-12) 27
    Becker (86-90) - 26
    Edberg (87-91) - 25
    Wilander (83-87) - 22
    Agassi - (92-96) and (98-02) - 20

Interesting to note that Andy Murray (08-12) won 21 titles in 5 years. Also, Muster won 32 titles between 92-96.

Hence why I included Muster with 32 titles between 92-96, more than Djokovic, Becker, Edberg, Wilander, and Agassi could do over a 5 year run.

The OP listed Connors' prime with 55.

That's a cool record, if only they weren't padded.

Djokovic will probably win more titles between 2011-2015 than 2008-2012.
