Get on the phone. Don't be shy. Have your little (short) intro script (a few sentences max) and an email-able resume at hand if needed. Hi, my name is xxx, I have taught at xxx for x years, I just moved to Denver and am seeking a teaching position, do you know of any openings or can you recommend someone I should talk to, etc.

Ask for the head pro and then ask if he knows of any openings or anyone he thinks you should talk with. You will get some leads; some will pan out, some won't. It is a numbers game.

    Good luck!

    Start by posting on craigslist.

There is a tennis pro here who posts there almost every other day.
