    Let's see...

    Murray + Lendl =

    Djokovic
    1. Defeated the BEST Returner the game has ever seen, a 100% healthy Djokovic, on Djoker's BEST surface, Hard Court on the world's hardest GS to win under the most unrelenting surface anyoe has ever played the US Open in history, on five gruleing sets, metally stronger and physically more fit.

    Federer
    2. Dismanteld and dispatched (after a sad loss at Wilmbeldon, wake-up call, waking sleeping Giant), humiliated the World's #1 Player, the GOAT Roger Federer, playing at his highest level, being #1,in the world again, dominating the men's field all year, and better than every other tennis player in the men's game, on his BEST surface, Grass Court, on his HOME turf, Wimbledon Center Court, on the world's largest stage, Olympics, winning the Olympic Gold...nuff said...spin away.....

everyone knows Roger Federer dreamed as a little boy winning the ultimate prize of an olympic gold medal..... you see, wininng wimbeldon is easy for Roger...it's nothing special for him...but that elusive Gold medal burned inside not winning it... like lendl was burning for that one elusive wimbeldon title, and gave it his all but came up short....Roger gave it his all for olympic gold, but Murray 2.0 was too much for the world's #1 and GOAT on his best surface....

Making Andy Murray 2.0 (since 2012 Wimbldon loss) a force for 2013...Nadal is out of the equation....Rosol took care of Nadal's game forever

Welcome the NEW Andy Murray 2.0 to take hold of 2013, winning 2 GS at least.

It's a brand new day, people...it's a brand new day.

Wow, it's bad enough that we have the Djokotards joining the Fedal tards, now we have the Murraytards to contend with. Fun,fun, fun:twisted:

djokovic played a horrible match.... Federer would take Murray in straight set yesterday.. something is not right with Djokovic.. his forehand, backhand.. slice.. everything seem too much spin with little depth now adays..

lendlmac is NOT a Murraytard but a Lendltard. He root for Murray because Lendl became his coach.

COol it a bit. Great Murray won the final that was played with what seemed like Junior sponge tennis balls. Stop comparing him to Roger and Djoko.

No, just saying...Lendl said himself in an interview in 1987, he considered his career started in 1984, AFTER winning the French Open, even though he played since 1978 as a pro...

    Fast forward to 2012:

Andy Murray's career is NOW beginning in 2012, AFTER winning the Olympic Gold and dispatching a 100% healthy Djokovic who was playing lights out all US Open...Andy is soooo young right now...and healthy and fit..and has the best coach in men's tennis... Look for Lendl' tennis academy to boost in enrollment and sponsors

So, with Lendl & Murray at the helm, Look for Lendl to instill in Murray NOT to rest on his laurels and if he thought the grind of fitness and workouts were tough BEFORE.... Andy hasn't seen anything yet from Lendl...as Lendl will make sure Andy doubles down on diet nurtirion and fitness and workouts not get complacent anymore...where people actually FEAR Andy Murray....you can all laugh now, and belittle the US open win against the best returner the game has ever seen playing at his higest level....he got beat by a better hungrier Murray, better fit and better coached.... but Djoker turned it around after 2010 US open...no? LOL

its a brand new day...not comparing 1 grand slams to to 5 or to 17...no, rather this is the BEGINNING of the next 6-8 years of Andy Murray challening now for GS titles...ala edberg or becker... 5-7 GS titles before his career is over....

so not saying hi one GS is better than anyone...rather to get his 1st GS, he dispatched the 2 dominating players of 2012, THIS year prior to his first GS...and on their best surfaces, playing at their very best!

    :) :) :)

he only has to have 4 consecutive years of calendar year grand slams to tie the GOAT'S slam count.

Think about that.. 16 CONSECUTIVE slams (which we know is impossible) to TIE the GOAT.

dude's prime will probably be over in 3 years

    Cant have it both ways

    1. Federer regained no. 1, another GS, playing highest level over evetyone else..... Yet if he loses, its cause he is now old? LOL

Federer is the goat of his era, period, and Murray knows how to beat the worlds no. 1 player and no. 2 player, not choking, but being clutch through all adversity

Face it federer is no. 1, but got beat by murray, start of new era.... And joker is awesome but now has to worry about murray now....murray knows how to win now and it took wimbledon loss to start fresh

You're right. Federer is in his prime. His prime is in fact so (conveniently) long that his younger peers have had time to catch up and overtake him. He's a sucker isn't he that Federer?

Matter of fact Maurice Green is probably still in his prime but he is too scared to race against Ussain Bolt. And Lauda is also in his prime but Vettel is much better.

Tennis didn't start with Federer and it most definitely did not start with Murray. You must be quite an embarrassment to the otherwise balanced and mature group of Murray supporters here.

Notice how *******s and jokertards are now threatened by the NEW kid on the bloc with confidence of steel, knocking out in one-two fashion, federer #1 at wimbeldon for gold medal, playing his best tennis....and joker on joker's playground on hardcourts in dominating fashion?

murray is just getting started...cant compare resume yet...wont catch federer, but can easily take away a few GS from nadal, federer and djoker and delpo and berdych and raoinc and anyone else, with Lendl....

its a brand new day folks...yes, its a brand new day!

Best returner the game has ever seen?

As great a returner as Djokovic is, I don't even think he's a better returner than Murray. Djokovic struggles with the big servers. Murray eats them alive.

just incase you didnt notice federer was a 31 year old who played a marathon match was del potro previously while Murray played only 2 sets. Its not that Murray was hitting winners left and right. Federers balls were going out. Yes Murray should get credit for it by he go helped by a handful of fed shanks. The answer to Murray 2.0 is Jeremy Chardy LMAO!!!! I was supporting Murray full on after fed lost in the QF but dont turn it into more than it actually is. Murray is faaaaaaaaaaar from the likes of Federer, Nadal and Djokovic

Reminds me of a time when Del Potro won his GS, and how people pretty much came out and declared him the GOAT. I like Murray, and I like it now that there are more challengers for the GS... well except for FO.. pretty much a Nadal lock.

    for those that are "slow"

Djokovic 2.0 = Winning AO in 2012, after his tough loss at the US Open in 2010, then going on a tear and winning 9 titles, and new confidence with new workout and fitness and diet

Federer 2.0 = Going Grand Slam-less for 2+ years, then regaining #1 world ranking, wininng GS #17, masteing all opponents again, as he turns 31, hence a new chapter of his playing.

Murray 2.0 = 0-3 in GS finals PRIOR to Ivan Lendl's hiring...known as "choke job".... the NEW improved Muray 2.0 is 2-0 against Joker US Open and Olympics in 2012 AFTER Lendl, and 1-0 v. Federer, AFTER Wimbledon...winnin Olympic Gold, somthing Roger can never ever win, ever......with new fitness, workouts and diet and Lendl dominating Men's tennis coaching.... Lendl's help gives even MORE prestige to Ivan Lendl's career, and an increase into his own tennis academy, and Lendl could do what no one else could do...

help Andy Murray destroy and crush the top 2 players in the world, on their best surfaces, playing at their highest level, hence Federer is #1 for no reason, other than being THE BEST, right? and Djoker was the BEST on hardcourts the past 2 years, right? And Joker is the BEST return of server the game has EVER seen, right?

    Murray 2.0 PWNED them now.

Nadal = slips back down to 1.0, after getting forced into early retirement by tennis hack, 4.5 level player in Lukas Rosol, at Wimbeldon...

It's a brand new day, folks...yes, it's a brand new day, with Murray 2.0 leaving the 'old andy murray" behind, now Federer, and Djokovic and even Del Potro the rest of the bunch, ave to "worry" about Andy Murray's confidence and higher-level of play on the tour.

    :) :)

So why was Fed 2.0 , he did not start slow so if you are referring Fed of 2012, its better to refer him as Fed version :: 3 unleashed . (started strong, took a slight dip, and again won a GS but not his peak). You contradict yourself now dont you ? :|

Look, I was pulling for Murray, but in no way have I sensed he's jumped to another level - 2.0. Wimbledon - he missed Nadal and Djoker. Olympics - no Nadal in the equation. USO - missed Fed and Nadal. The USO final? Hell, that was excruciating. He did everything he could to blow the match vs. Djoker.

I'm glad he broke through and won a slam, but the whole dominant, 2.0 thing completely misses the target. He doesn't look anything like Djoker 2011.

Just be happy with the slam and let the guy play.
