NO time for Murray anymore, such a counter punching defensive blouse. I 've watched him for a while now. He never goes for his shots unless he has too! He got *****ed and should be embarassed by the style in which he chooses to play. Have a go Murray! Hit the ball, don't be afraid!!

Not a fan, don't hate him, just don't enjoy watching him play...needs to be more agressive if he is to pick up a slam. Good luck to him, hope he turns it around.

Murray just doesn't know when to be aggressive and can't adjust his game in tough situations

That's the biggest difference between him and Nadal and Hewitt

The Indian Wells final is proof

Well yeah he's not going to be as good as either of those two ever were but then again only Federer on the current tour will with certainty end up with a better career than them.

Murray can pick up a slam or two needs to sort out that forehand and second serve, both are far too easy for big hitters to attack.

It's not looking good for him

With Federer around, Nadal making a full recovery, Djokovic coming out of his slump, Del Potro hitting his peak, and many others coming to the forefront - Murray won't have space to win a slam.

Sorry, he might end up being a slamless wonder like Rios, Pioline, Martin, and Haas

And all of those were more fun to watch than Murray.

Murray could beat Nadal at the US Open though that would hardly be his biggest concern there, any other slam and it's hard to see him taking Nadal. Djokovic he could beat anywhere except RG though Murray probably won't ever be a contender there anyway. Otherwise he has owned Djokovic since 2007.

Del Po could beat him on any surface and will probably end up with more slams..he will be a contender on every surface for years.

Federer has to slow down sometime. When he does Murray should still be near his best and even then he can beat Federer.

Wimbledon or US Open I can see him taking one day.

While I am pretty sure that Murray will never have a sort of a career that Nadal probably will, I disagree about Hewitt. Murray actually has weapons (backhand, first serve) and his defense is even more insane. He's got problems, but he can surely achieve more than Hewitt.

Murray will end up with a slam. Let's be honest. He may have done worse at this US Open than other players, but he is currently the superior player to Djokovic, Del Potro, and Roddick. He is IMO the clear #3 in the world. And Federer is going to get less good soon, so Murray will be due to be #2. He could even be a solid #1 if Nadal never reaches his 2008 form again.

In matches like these it shows his limitations, even when Federer beat him a couple of weeks ago he got a lesson of a life time, Federer was just napping the times Andy was beating him his wake now!
