Murray said that he can win French open...Ofcourse he could in....
Djokovic won Wimbledon so anything is possible..Even Murray winning RG.
Why isn't Roger Federer a poll option?
The French Open for the next few years goes through Nadal and Nole. No one else has a chance any time soon
Murray isn't that good on clay either.
No, The French Open titles goes through Djesus and no one else.
Murray might win it in the future. Watch him reach the final this year.
Murray to deny Djokovic the CGS this year in the final.
Lendl will help Murray win RG through his reliable Hitman!
Why didn't Djokovic win all 4 slams last year like you predicted? Who said Djokovic is going to win RG......Federer and others can take him out.
Everything is possible but it doesn't seem likely.
If Nadal can win USO and Djokovic Wimbledon, why not Murray winning a FO? The possibility is there, he is getting better.
Difficult? Yes. Impossible? NO.
Well, anybody but Djesus so I hope Andy does win it this year. I know that's never going to happen since Djesus has already won the title anyway, but I can still dream. Lol.
Wait, is it April 1st already?
You must have been on Cloud 50+ when Djoker did not win RG,SW19 and US last year.
Djokovic can't win everything.....he just a weak multi dimensional baseliner.
Djokovic can't win everything.....he just a weak multi dimensional baseliner.[/QUOTE]
he came pretty close in 2011
Lets face it folks.
Even if Fed, Djoker, Nadal all went out before the 4th round Murray still would not win the French Open.
Well, you never know. There may be a hurricane blowing in Paris come finals day!
he's not winning it but it's good that he believes he can.......
he is the 6 th favorite after david ferrer and nicolas almagro sure he can do it
nadal's reply to trollander,
"You don't have to be the crowd favourite in order to win."
Let's face it - you're the one who is deluded
2xQFs and 1xSF (achieved with an injured back last year and dodgy ankle in 2011 no less) is not exactly a disaster clay slam record. He has lost to Berdych, Nadal and Ferrer in the last 3 years - all claycourt mugs alright...
Nothing is impossible. If your hypothetical situation did come up, Murray's chances would double.
Okay, lets say Murray gets the number two seed this year at RG.
Lets say that Djokovic gets Nadal in his quarter as seed 5 and Federer in his half as seed three. All of a sudden Murray making a final at RG becomes a much bigger possibility. And if someone like Ferrer falls early, because for some reason, he has had some unexpected early round losses at RG, Murray could be eyeing a final spot.
Now, Djokovic and Nadal kill each other, the winner of that goes through another battle with Federer, and whoever turns up in the final is not 100% because of the previous battles....Now things get interesting.
You could well be right - but if Rafa and Nole weren't playing then Murray would be bookies favourite (he's solid 3rd favourite right now)
Djokovic is the worst six-time one slam wonder and multiple one-dimensional baseliner I've ever seen.
The Mayor of London has a better chance of winning RG than Muzzah.
Post stops here. Nothing after is relevant.
He's the 3rd favourite behind Nole and Rafa - but hey; don't let facts get in the way of anything. Your personal opinion carries far more weight than that of the people who price tennis for a living.
Way to undersestimate the Great Scot. Surely if Nadal and Fed get eliminated, he will have a chance, even with Djoker around. Nicolas Almagro ahead of Murray ? Berdych and Tsonga have better chances than Almagro. And Murray is now significantly better than Berdych and Tsonga.
Do you know what Wilander said before SF AO 2012 Nadal-Federer?
Federer in 3, maybe 4
Ha ha what an idiot
I could've seen Fed winning in 4 going in (though a longshot), but certainly not in 3 or "maybe 4" as Wilander said. All in all I agree that he's quite the idiot.
greatest player Nurray!!
yeah. He can. lol
i really think he can, he showed great tennis against djokovic in 2011 on clay so why not ? he got the qualities (the match against wawrinka was sh eet i know)
Does anyone still take what he says seriously? That guy proved to be a joke commentator time after time. Nadal is still the "man" to beat in FO.
Are there hurricanes or class 5 twisters in Paris ?
He has a chance, be it a very remote one.
exactly, at least he's not thinking the way gasquet is..
gasquet 's dream for each slam is to reach the quarters, not ambitious enough
If Murray wins French Open this year, I will bang my head on the walls of my room (literally) until I bleed. Gulbis has better chance of winning French open than Murray.
I wouldn't say that. He has a sure path to the quarterfinals, facing mental midgets and pidgeons until then.
Sounds like you've already had a few bumps on the head if you truly believe the statement in bold.
If gulbis can control the demons in his mind, he could have a dream run at the RG. Murray will be exhausted by the time he reaches SF combating with 2nd-3rd Round hard fought victories and surely would tank in SF.
