Murray vs Djokovic = Acupuncture gone wrong for different reasons

I usually avoid watching these two play each other because I know the result before it's even happened. I don't find their matches boring in a "Marc Rosset" way, I'd rather watch pong than witness a servebot fest, I just find it annoying because the match plays out like a recurring story..a kind of acupuncture gone wrong especially if you're a Muzzaholic ;)

"Once upon a time"

Australian Open 2013 - Djokovic 6-7 7-6 6-3 6-2 Featherer? LOL.

Wimbledon 2013 - Murray 6-4 7-5 6-4. Murray played solid tennis, nothing special if I remember because he didn't have to.

Miami 2014 - Djokovic 7-5 6-3, Murray was playing well till something "distracted" him, then he lost

US Open 2014 - Djokovic 7-6 6-7 6-2 6-4 = Oh Look are we in Melbourne again?

China Open - Routine victory vs Murray, first time since the Australian Open 2011 where Djokovic made Murray look like a Djokovic clone gone wrong.

Paris 2014 - 7-5 6-2, close first set "Oh I'm in London, second set"

Australian Open 2015 - 7-6 6-7 6-3 6-0, oh look we're in Melbourne again though it's with a bagel.

I like Djokovic, I've always admired his fight, his game and his evolution since getting whooped by Safin in the 1st round of the Australian Open in 2005.....I'm speaking as a Muzzette every time he faces Djokovic he gives up, then in Melbourne this year get's tetchy about it...I will try to avoid watching that match.....if you want to talk big 3 or 4 I'll passionately watch Nadal vs Federer, Murray vs Federer, Djokovic vs Nadal, Djokovic vs Federer, Murray vs Nadal but there's something about Djokovic vs Murray that irks me, the only time I enjoyed them play was in Rome 2011, that was brilliant.

Here's that match = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQ37c1m7ByA why can't they bring this again? All the "pretence" friendship out the door, just fight to see who's better.

Wow that Rome match is amazing isn't it? Loved that Djokovic roar at the end. It can become annoying if you see it too much, but 2011 Djokovic was a beast and beasts are supposed to roar:wink:

ETA: yeah I guess I agree with you. I don't know, sounds difficult to be a Murray fan. He always looks like he can play top notch tennis (Big 3 level) pretty easily but for some reason he doesn't do it consistently. He's like Wawrinka in that aspect, to a much lesser extent obviously.
