I think I've have found the right combination of strings for my game and racquet! It's only taken 4 years of experimenting, but I've found it.

    Racquet: Wilson HPS 6.1
Mains: Wilson Synthetic Gut 17 55lbs
Crosses: Topspin Cyber Power 17 55lbs

This setup gives me enough power and plenty of control/spin. Very stoked about this, cause it's a cheap effective setup. I just wish 'Topspin' would come in other colours than blue, but that's just a minor issue.
I'll continue to experiment, but i'll always go back to this setup if all else fails.

I've tried that setup and didn't enjoy it. Big Ace as good as it is, seems to ,IMO, feel harsh compared to Topspin Cyber Power. I have 1 set of SPPP, so will try that out, but Cyber Power all the way.

a lot of the players on the college team i string for use the syn gut main poly cross hybrid. It's always nice to finally find the right tension too.

Cyberpower for me felt so much better than Big Ace. Cyberpower had so much spoin potential- it was crazy and like it's name indicates has a lot of power. Lots of spin and power and the control was pretty good- a powerful version of SPPP.

Sounds like a pretty good combo. I, like others here have said, do not care for BA either. Too much power, not enough spin, very little control, IMO.
