My YouTek Prestige MP broke today...

    ...when I hit a normal forehand. No joke. I was playing a varsity match and after the point ended I saw the frame had chipped. Played on with the frame until the string broke. Racquet was basically brand new and had NEVER been thrown/abused.

    I should probably contact HEAD about this right?

    You'll have a hard time explaining this one to the Head rep.
    "frame chipped" sounds like the paint chipped.
    "string cracked"...well, you think about that one.

    Fixed first post to say string broke. In my hurry to type i didn't realize what i wrote.

    The frame cracked, and I played on with it until the point of no return AKA the string snapped.

    Well, you can certainly try.

    The last racquet I broke was a widebody from the 1980s that had seen many years of use.

    This is definitely not the HEAD i know and love...one in a million i guess

    just send it to head, especially if you just got it and have a proof of it!
    A year ago, my Blade cracked in the throat, I sent it in and a week later I had a new one...
