Myskina is 3-1 against Sharapova. Maria hasn't been really looking very good. She has never won back to back tournaments. I like Myskina in 3 sets.

maria will not be losing to myskina. she plays very well against her fellow russians. theres no love lost there. they havent played since 2004, where maria won. maria has looked good when she has had too. maria is probably a little tired, though.

Maria in straights - Myskina's game plays right into Sharapova's.

    Something like 6-4 6-2

No kidding. It seemed like Myskina believed she could push her way to win as she was putting most of her shots in the center of the court. That might have worked on Maria in the past, but it was just target practice tonight.

    And that serve! Phew!!

That match SUCKED! I mean if this was my first time seeing Myskina and I was told that she won the French Open I would bet my life it was a lie.
The difference between her serve and Sharapova's is like night and day. She wasn't going for her shots (for the most part). I mean freaking have some fighting spirit. Why are you frowning at your coach??? Did your coach tell you to serve 70mph??? Did you coach hit the lame ass forehand to the middle of court??

It's going to be the same story with Tatiana Golovin.

Now Kuzi v Mauresmo. That is one WTA match I want to see. Let Kuzi show you how to hit a forehand.

Cool, my guess was very close.

Myskina's game is kind of like what you get when you take Sharapova's game and dip it in paint stripper then leave it out in the sun for a few months. She hits flat, but not particularly very hard or in a risky way. Her serve is just there to set up the point, her returns aren't authoritative. So the pace isn't enough to trouble Sharapova, in fact it's almost perfect for a practice like session of drilling the ball where she pleases. Plus as someone mentioned she blames her woes on her coach whenever things don't go her way. A bit of a headcase, quite honestly.
