Actually its still not over. Because Novak still has Davis Cup matches. If he wins both time, he will get total of 150 points.

If he wins semi he would still need to win one match in London if Novak wins Paris, wtf and DC.

    According to my calculations...

    Nadal makes the Bercy final:
    12,270

If Djokovic Wins Paris, the WTF and DC
    10,610+1,500+150
    12,260

Nadal still has 10 points more ;)

Explain with point totals (see mine above)

I'm not his coach so don't know

What is the bonus - apart from the matches - for winning the title?

There's no way Djokovic is winning both Paris Bercy and WTF back to back after winning China Open and Shanghai Masters back to back. Not happening.

Nadal also looks motivated to take on Novak again. Should they meet in Paris or London, I think Rafa will win.

So, Rafa wins this Daveed match, he's the YE #1. Nothing Djokovic can do about it.

No, your hero CVAC isn't winning both Paris and WTF. There's more chance of him going down to Federer

Cvac is not my hero. Not sure why you think I am a Cvac fan when I have made it abundantly clear that I can't stand the guy.

And you still didn't answer my question. Why do you think Cvac can't win all those tournaments back to back? Who is going to stop him from doing so?

Nadal is not a lock to get by Ferrer.

The h2h is 20-4... but Nadal is 1-2 against him on fast courts with the lone win resulting from a Ferrer retirement. Ferrer also won their only indoor match.

Almost all of their matches have been contested on clay, which highly skews the h2h. Overall, they are 3-3 on hard courts, with Nadal's other 2 wins coming at Miami and Ferrer's other win coming at the AO.

I was kidding about CVAC being your hero.

Why he won't win Paris Bercy and WTF back to back? Has anyone ever won China Open/Tokyo, Shanghai, Paris Bercy and WTF in a row? If not, Djokovic isn't doing it either.

Just watch and see, Djokovic will lose either against Federer or in the final

Or... I'm just not writing Ferrer off. Nadal is not that good indoors and he's facing a guy he has a losing record against on fast courts. Ferrer is also the defending champion.

Lol. This is decided long ago, not sure why are Nadal fans still so insecure. Nadal will be #1 thanks to all the clay Mickey Mouse tournaments he played at the beginning of the year.

Nothing is decided until the points are out of reach for Djokovic. This is his best part of the year and Nadal's worst

I predict it will be closer than many expect.

Also Montreal where Novak looked so nervous and took one in the face and couldn't do much to stop Nadal. That was funny

This isn't clay. Nadal's clay padded h2h's don't help him in real tennis matches.

Ferrer has gotten the better of him more often than not when they played real tennis. That's all I'm saying. Maybe Nadal can even up the real h2h tomorrow.

Let Rafa play. When he finalises the YEN1, then we can announce like this ;)
Right now, Rafa wants to bite the trophy as much as he wants No.1 :)

You seriously think Ferrer has a good chance to beat Nadal because it's indoors? Good for you. Ferrer is a good indoors player.

Does it bother you that I don't consider Nadal a lock?

You seem upset about Rafa's padded h2h. You thought... "20-4, how could he possibly lose?"

Now that you've found out it's actually 1-2 you're all worried and agitated.

That was disgraceful from Nadal. Unsportsmanlike conduct. Nothing funny, nothing to brag about and nothing to be proud about. Only Nadal fan's can be proud and brag about such victory.
Anyway Novak should have tanked Montreal just like Paris now. I am sure he would have at least Cincy if not USO title as well if he tanked Montreal. He repeats the same mistake now.

hahaha yeah I'm worried Nadal will lose to Ferrer :D You wish!

Look, Nadal is going to beat Ferrer in straight sets. You won't understand this, you probably do but are hoping for an upset just because you don't like Nadal.

Mate, I don't take your posts seriously because you come across as a crazy fan of Federer or Djokovic who hates Nadal. When you start being more objective, I'll start taking you seriously.

I'm quoting stats. Ferrer is 2-1 against Nadal on fast courts. Moreover, Nadal is a dismal indoors player. The only indoor tournament he has won is some mickey mouse tournament played in Tokyo.

Their 18 matches on clay do not matter. You're the one blinded by your fanboy emotions.

well, Andy Murray seemed to enjoy it, took to Twitter to talk about.

I'm glad you're not part of Djokovic team or he'd be title less this year if he keeps tanking every tournament. He has a good team of people to support him and they know what his schedule should be like better than you fans do.

Stahovsky is a better grass court player than 32 year old grandpa Federer.

Ferrer beat Nadal in their only 2 grand slam matches contested outside of clay. And he managed to do it in Nadal's prime

I wonder what Nadal's h2h's would look like if we adjusted them for clay skew. Not very good I'd imagine

First of all, his lone Indoor HC win, is a Masters1000 win, which came at Madrd masters in 2005 when it used to be conducted on Indoor HC.

Secondly, yes Ferrer might beat Rafa today. He certainly can! But neither you can predict the result, nor me. So why not just wait a couple of hours, and then see what happens.
Right now, you're just coming off like a Nadal hater, who wants him to lose. So wait and watch, anything can happen.

And who did he beat to win that title...

    That's right. No one.

8th seeded Ljubicic in the final... 16th seeded Ginepri in the semis.

Rafa has been stuffing his face with cake since 2005. Ridiculous.

I highly doubt that you're saving the world or doing anything productive in between posts. You're sitting here desperately trying to defend Nadal any way you can.

And if it takes you more than 15 seconds to look up that information, maybe you should spend more time learning how to use the internet. It's 2013.

Well, this has gone off topic. Nadal will win, but Ferrer will do better than most people are thinking, despite his poor H2H and recent form. As Whiskey said, he seems to prefer indoors to Nadal.

Because I've gotten involved in useless discussions like these with some trolls here. My love for the fairness of conversations, clouded my judgement to not argue with haters. I'm learning to not get involved with Internet trolls!

See, my initial comments to you here. I just said that we don't know who will win today, both of them have a chance. Wasn't it a fair comment? And it could have ended there easily!
But then you dragged me into- how Rafa won tournament without Fed playing, and then how I should learn to use internet. YOU Are trying to drag me to your level! Just drop it.

Anything can happen in the match. It's sports! Rafa has a slight MENTAL edge. But considering its Indoors, Ferru can trouble him well.
