Wait till Drakulie shows up here - what a fest that would be! How come Nadal is practising when the abdominal tear was supposed to require weeks of treatment? I can imagine a lot of fun in this thread to follow soon.

I noticed that too! What is the need for blowing? No dirty answers please, let us keep it clean around here.

THIS. Notice that he was blowing up and down across the breadth of the racquet where the Babolat stencil is. Also, he probably put the stencil on last minute as he knew a TV crew was coming. I don't think pros would bother to stencil if it was just for a casual hit and no one was watching.

Yes it is. Hope it isn't too soon. He is more than likely to be speaking Mallorquin.

The language that you hear on the streets of Mallorca is most likely to be Mallorquin, a version af Catalan, which itslef shares features with both French and Spanish but sounds nothing like either and is emphatically a language, not a dialect.

Nadal should be resting. It seems to me that he comes back from these injuies too soon and then he does not ease back into it.

He'll be fine, it was a big year for Nadal. He has only one more title to capture for a career grandslam which is everymans dream. He has olympic gold and davis cup.

Some day Nadal will have won every single title there is to win LOL

I think next year RAFA will capture 2 slams and become #1 again. French and US open. And Murray will win Wimbledon. and James Blake will win the Aussie open. Roger will win 0 Slams and call it a OFF year. and contemplate retirement...

Well, all the players that have won at least 3 different slams have won both the AO and the USO. If Rafa never wins the USO, he would be the first player in the Open era not to achieve this.

That just shows that those who win AO are more likely to win USOpen and vice versa (makes sense cause they are both HCs).

It's not really a deficiency, because he was able to win on all 3 surfaces, while some of these 3 slam winners were only able to win on 2.

Yeah the slam they couldn't win was either the FO or Wimbledon.

It actually shows that Rafa is better than other clay courters because he was able to win AO
