Maybe he will take less time between service points now. Since he won't have to go through the shorts to dig them out.

I wonder if Nike has sold even 6 pair of those ridiculous clam diggers. They're bad enough on Nads, but what really probably most likely killed them for the buying public was seeing John McEnroe's old ass in them. Boy was that a fashion nightmare or what?

I wonder if TW has even come close to selling out of their first allotment of these...

Can there be a 'new and improved' version of them? Hey Nike, if you're reading, I can suggest one way you can improve them, add some fabric to the buttock region. Apparently the seamstress shorted Nads in that area because he continually adjusts it.

I don't understand how insecure people are who think carpri's are feminine. Please explain to me how so. They're simply just long shorts or short pants. How ridiculous.

In Europe it's perfectly acceptable for men to wear capri's. Who cares what Nadal wears? He simply kicks ass. Even if he did wear a dress, he'd whop your ass in one.

No offense dude, but you live in america so by now you should know that Nadals capris are pretty homosexual looking. That is the general consensus of most people on these boards and most people in my area. If you want to wear them not be asked out by the guy from the real world who died from aids then you should probably move to europe somewhere.

Wow. You are so angry about something (or is it fear?). Could it be something within yourself? How can you be so ignorant? You let other people (general consensus) think for you. You can't even think for yourself. Go on and be dictated by others. Good luck with your sexual insecurities. You might be the one repressing some desires. Maybe your father left you or didn't love you.

How are the capri's "homosexual" looking? Explain to me.

How could a dead person ask another living person out?

Becasue all you see is women in the USA wearing those things. Which look terrible on them by the way. Therefore when you see a guy wearing them you assume hey that guy must want to be a girl. Or if he doesnt want to be a girl he must to be hit on by other dudes.

i remeber reading when senator graig was having his bathroom issues and tried to act like a straight guy some reporter gave this to explain the phoniness of his non-gay admission

"Surely any homosexual worth his capri pants saw the loopholes in Craig's televised declaration of non-gayness"

Its just that capris are associated with homosexuals. albeit unfairly, but that is the way it is. I just think the look awful.

Thanks for adding that last sentance on after the fact.

I just its funny how everyone was so shocked that guy from the real world died of aids even though he had it in 11th grade, but ignored that fact that he tested for a dieses and continued to have promiscuous unprotected sex with random dudes. All I was saying if thats the kinda guy you want to impress than wear the capris.

If I wore capri's it would be because they were comfortable, or that my wife thinks they're hot and wants my junk after we play tennis.

Is this the part where I say

"Im not homophobic I have many gay friends"

Im just telling you how the majority of people think about dudes wearing capris. Dont be surprised if you get weird looks and see people talking about you behind your back. Cuz the first thing most people think when they see a guy and capris is that he at the very least a switch hitter

Yeah, I agree. I don't think they're feminine, I think they're ridiculous. They're more a pirate look than anything else. Besides, capri pants on girls come down further.

Yeah and Jerry Lewis is France's favorite actor...what's your point? ;)

This quote from an article on the Island of Capri might explain why the stigma is attached to the pants:

"As well as being a haven for writers and artists, Capri served as a relatively safe place for foreign gay men and lesbians to lead a more open life, and a small nucleus of them were attracted to live there, overlapping to some extent with the creative types mentioned above. The 19th century poet August Graf von Platen was one of the first. Jacques d'Adelswärd-Fersen wrote the roman à clef Et le feu s’èteignit sur le mer (1910) about Capri and its residents in the early 20th century, causing a minor scandal. Fersen's life on Capri became the subject of Roger Peyrefitte's fictionalised biography, L'Exile de Capri. One of the island's most famous foreign inhabitants was Norman Douglas; his novel South Wind is a thinly fictionalised description of Capri's residents and visitors, and a number of his other works, both books and pamphlets, deal with the island, including Capri (1930) and his last work, A Footnote on Capri (1952). A satirical presentation of the island's lesbian colony in the 1920s is made in Compton Mackenzie's novel Extraordinary Women (1928)."

Yet somehow the stigma carried over to the garment.

I also agree that they DO have a pirate element to them as said by "Rabbit".

Board shorts or cargo pants can extend down sometimes to the length well past the knee.

Thanks, Mr. Doesn't-Know-Fashion-Or-Gay-People-At-All. I've never seen a gay guy wear capris my entire life and I work with a lot of fashion-conscious male nurses at a major hospital. You're just buying into your own narrow worldview, chief.
