No, he's 5-6 vs Fed on hard overall. He's 5-2 vs Fed on outdoor hard and Fed is 4-0 vs Rafa on indoor hard.

Because I can read zagor's mind!

Seriously though, I read it here when zagor took a guess at it. Zagor's premise was that The Order was the double account known as sharpshooter because of his long drawn out debates with mandy01 and abmk.

Well, can I get some credit for that. I knew who he really was the moment he started posting. :)

You would too if you had been here.

Are you serious? We'd find a way to turn it into a 30 page Rafa v Fed war.

Ahhh yes that's it, Sharpshooter. LOL I'm not sharpshooter or anyone else, I joined here for the first time as The_Order, it's just you arrogant *******s trying to act clever and think you're on to everything.

Can anyone provide a link to one of his/her posts? The fact that this person argued with abmk and Mandy would be interesting to see what he/she had to say to those 2 who are no doubt the same person posting with alternate accounts.

No, I am judging from their actual grass court games. Djokovic beat Nadal at Wimbledon in 2011, when he was completely inside Nadal's head and even beat him on clay. I think Nadal in good form and without that mental block is definitely a better grass court player, as is Murray. Nadal has won Wimbledon twice and made the final three times! Federer goes without saying. Grass is Djokovic's worst surface and he is the least natural by far on it out of the top 4. I I would definitely put the other 3 ahead of him in playing level Wimbledon.

Djokovic was playing at a decent level at both Wimbledon and the Olympics last year and lost pretty decisively against Federer and Murray. Nadal is right up there with those guys as a grasscourter (prime Fed is obviously better but we are talking about a 31 year old), and IMO ahead of Djokovic.

Give it up, any astute poster can tell that you are Sharpshooter and your responses are making it even more obvious. :)

I agree with you. I would put Nadal, Murray and obviously Federer as overall better grass court players over Djokovic. That does not mean that Djokovic will not win more Wimbledon titles but he is naturally not as good on grass as the other three imo.

You are definitely some banned poster, maybe not Sharpshooter but that's a big possibility. No new poster would immediately start trolling and flaming Federer fans like you have throughout your tenure here.

I think you underrate Novak on grass, not that I disagree that he's the least natural grasscourter among them (the big 4) but he has a Wimbledon title to his name (along with 2 SF) and even before he "got into Nadal's head" he had tough matches with him on grass (their Queens match for example was very close despite the straight set victory result for Nadal).

The other big 3 may be above him but he's not an outside contender or something, he's very close, especially considering that we've yet to see the level Nadal will bring on non-clay surfaces, whether Fed still has it (he'll turn 32 this year) and considering Murray is only one among them without a Wimbledon title.

I also think Novak is being underrated on grass. Overall he may in fact be the worst on the surface by playing level, but Federer is getting older and he has a matchup edge over Nadal no matter how well Nadal plays on grass. In fact I'm very skeptical about whether Nadal can beat him on any surface outside of clay in the near future even if he gets back to form. He's also won lots of big matches over Murray and is on a bit of a streak against him since he beat him in Shanghai last year. Murray may be a slight favourite on grass, but only very slight IMO.

He is close, but I think that he also has a decent chance of being upset by a player like Tsonga, Del Potro, Berdych, or even Ferrer (who was playing some GREAT tennis at Wimbledon last year), more than the other big 4. I may be wrong, but I have him as a firm 4th favorite for Wimbledon this year. Personally, I think this may be Murray's year but I would put Roger as the favorite right now.

"In his head" is not an excuse. Djokovic gave Nadal a whooping in the Wimbledon final and he is a Wimbledon champion. He is definitely a greater grass court player than Murray and while he is not as great as Nadal/Federer on that surface, he can still compete hard with both of them (actually in Nadal's case, he can straight up beat him down).

Henman had a game tailor made for grass, but I'm never going to call him a better grasscourter than Agassi, who preferred HCs to grass. Aesthetics/natural mean absolutely nothing in determining who is the greater grass court player between two players. Results are all that matters and in that regard, Djokovic is a great grass court player.

Completely agreed. Although, Nadal and Murray are not necessarily above Djokovic ( at least now for Nadal). I don't expect Djokovic to play these matches like the underdog, especially against Murray... that is nonsense imo. People are just jumping the gun about Murray being so much better than Djokovic on grass. Reminds me of the USO final last year..about how Djokovic and Murray were suddenly equals on HC and will "be splitting matches left and right". Yeah, Djokovic seems to have set the record straight the last 3 times they play.

I mean, at least give it another year before just assuming Murray is "clearly greater on grass" than Djokovic.

yep ..... its "something" like nadal on HC ... he's the least "natural" HCer among the 4 ....yet, when playing well , you can't consider him an outside contender or anything close to that ....

murray's game is better suited for HC, yet nadal has had better success ( till now atleast ) because he's the better big match player

somewhat similarly for murray vs djokovic on grass ; murray's game is better suited for grass, yet djokovic has had better success ( till now atleast ) because he's the better big match player

LOL, no just because I argue with you and some other person did (I don't know how long ago) doesn't mean I'm that same person.

But like I said to that other guy, if you want to believe I used to be sharpshooter or someone else, go ahead, makes no difference to my life whatsoever, just realise you're not as clever as you think, pretty soon you'll have to create another account because abmk is on the brink of being banned for good. Or you can just use your alternate Mandy account I suppose.

What would you define as a "big match"? Slam/Olympic finals or would you include semi's and quarters into that?

Personally, I think the final is the "big" match, there's less pressure in the semi's and quarters.

I have nothing but respect for Murray, and although I may get berated fro saying this, but IMO, if Nadal wasn't out of the picture...

    1. Murray doesn't make the Wimbledon final
    2. Murray doesn't win the Olympic Gold
    3. Murray doesn't win the USO

Nadal would have been on the otherwise of the draw at the US Open and the Olympics. He's going to go through Djokovic and Federer respectively to stop Murray?

You're entitled to your opinion mate - no fraying from me

Re 1 - Rafa was 'in the picture' at Wimbledon - he just got Rosoled

Re 2 - Rafa is a lock to beat Roger on grass?

Re 3 - 2012 Rafa beats Nole and Murray back to back @ Flushing Meadows?

    No

Re Re 1: Rafa was allegedly injured at Wimbledon, no?

Re Re 2: Yes. But more importantly, he was my pick over Murray in the semifinal they would've played.

Re Re 3: No, but his entry into the draw at number three means that Murray plays Djokovic in the semifinals.

Exactly. Nadal was clear and present at Wimbledon as the number one player in the world, going to a third channel slam that would have tied him with Borg and made him the channel slam champion, and then getting set to win the US Open later in the year, to become to the first man in world history to win three slams on three different surfaces in the same year for the second time.

He did make world history though at Wimbledon in that second round. First player to get Rosoled.

He forgot to mention the WTF that murray would not have won if Rafa had been around.

Hitman's last line made me lol ... "world history" :D
