Everyone should post what they want without others criticizing it, that's what I think.

No, but some people need to quit all out worshipping one player and then turning around and calling the pot black. That's all I'm saying. And yes, it would be boring if everyone agreed all the time.

No, conditions are always different. In terms of players. Federer grabbed most of his slam titles in the era of no competition. His rivals were either talented nuts (Safin), talented lazybones (Nalbandian), talentless hardworkeds (Ferrero), one-dimensional victims (Rodick, Lubicic), physically weak (Hewitt). Now we have a number of talented, technically accomplished, physically fit and mentally determined players like Djokovic, Murray, Del Potro, Cilic will be there very soon, Tsonga can do something if he has a couple of months without injuries, Davydenko became a really good player. In 2007 tennis acquired some competition and started being interesting again after the boring drought of Federer's evil "reign".

And once again, comparisons can be done when Federer retires (hopefully next year), Nadal is 30, and it will be 30-year old Nadal vs. 30-year old Federer.

And once again, since in 2004-2006 Federer got free slam titles, may be some adjustment factor should be applied to his excellent "victories".

Federer has reached straight eigth slam finals and counting in this so called stronger era. Why Nadal wasnt so successful in that clown era?
And what great opposition Nadal faced at RG? Federer? His worst surface is clay and is a mental midget against Nadal. Maybe some conversion factor should also be applied to Nadal.

Rafa: Hey Kim, I think I injured my knee again. Can you help me back to the locker room.

Kim: You're too heavy for me. Why don't you ask Roger?

Roger: I already called Martina Navratilova to carry you on her back, she's on her way here.

Looks like he was expecting some medical treatment from Fed, and when that didn't happen, turned to Kimmie.

    Thanks. NO ONE IS EXEMPT!
You dont have 2 tell me about doping. I am fully aware of the elite sports athlete sub-culture. Wish more "fans" did as well. I suggest a few years chilling in tha "scene" for fans. Then come back and talk smack.
    :)
However I pay attention to who WANTS more stringent and enforced testing. I also listen to who COMPLAINS and has weirdo behavior.

Good point! Rome 2006 was the beginning of the mental destruction of Fed. 2007 French was one of the worst tactical chokes I have ever seen in tennis. It got worse due to Fed not employing S&V and dropshots and basically spread out to ALL surfaces.

He lost alot of weight in order to reduce the pressure on his knees. i think that has taken some weight off his shots. this is not good for Nadal. his topspin needs heavy spin and weight to be effective against top guys...:???:

His legs still look thick. His upper body has reduced somewhat. Does not have that pumped up upper body anymore....

He can always regain muscle mass, and his groundstrokes are still very heavy.
From what I've seen at the Australian Open Nadal's game is nearly as sharp as it has ever been. Confidence and match-practise is what's lacking, but that will come.

Playing as heavy as in 2009 would do him no favour, he would soon be forced to take a break again.

Good point. My point exactly. Nadal is and has been playing great tennis. 2008 was in all probability a statistical outlier. He will in all probability get back to dominating the French and winning a Wimby and hard court slam here and there. Vamos Rafa Nadal!

    lol X 500 !

Thanks for bringing the laughter back into my dreary life, ksbh. And there i was complaining about forgetting what it felt like to be insulted ! I've got to start hunting up all your posts for my masochistic delight.

And you said somewhere you'd been banned for running away with Babbette*. Won't they ever leave Nadal fans alone :-(

(* I am sure the gene pool will benefit immensely, lol)

    ROFL, Herr Sentinel!

After an exhaustive but fully gratifying burst of action late one afternoon (yes afternoon ... because carnal desires aren't governed by time!), I rolled over in bed-

She: you can get any girl you want, K!

K: Why thank you, young lady. Truth be told, I've been eyeing a certain Babette over on TT warehouse!

She: Did you make your 007'esque moves on her yet?

K: Well no, coz I hear she won't do men that pull out before the climax!

She: Why oh why, K, do you always have to do that?!

And I said 'My genes stay in me, for I wanna be known ... as one of a kind'!

    :)

Conversely, this is you dissing Nadal every chance you get. And you want to call someone juvenile. Are you serious. Look at your signature. That says it all.

He didn't get named the TopSpinMonkey (ridiculously juvenile, especially considering the unattractive mug on your tennis love) for nothing. Boring game, even more boring personality.
