Soderling is playing big time tennis. Big serve, big forehand. No messing around. He's playing the same way that he plays indoors.

Soderling seems nervous now, making backhand error.. 30-40, breakpoint for Nadal

Soderling is doing something that I have always wondered why other players don't...taking advantage of Nadal's short balls...

Awesome from Soderling to save the breakpoint, Rafa was dictating that rally till he came up with that monster forehand

Rafa is hitting shorter than normal, usually he'd have enough depth that the topspin then kicks it into a horrid place. Today the short balls are short enough that they are just popping into Soderlings hitting zone (at least that's my take)

That forehand pass was insane and needed more than anything. Soderling had just broken, was 15-0 and flying.

What a point to get deuce by Soderling!

break point down and Soderling comes up with the goods, he was way out of position and hits a screamer down the line, then kills it off with another huge forehand to the Nadal forehand corner.

Soderling is getting great depth on his shots, it's uncanny. Rafa can't do anything when those shots land within inches of the baseline. and he's serving huge. this next game will be very interesting, a lot of pressure on Nadal.

Still.. Nadal making unusual forehand errors. Playing forehands that barely go over the net.

    Soderling playing great however

Really strange to see Nadal struggling with Sodderling so much here,I mean he destroyed him recently in Rome.Still even if Sodderling pulls off the upset of the century(which I still think won't happen)I can't root for the guy,I like his game well enough(especially when he's playing indoors) but for some reason the guy just comes of as an *** to me,don't know why.

    Soderling is on fire!
And Nadal's having problem with his form, he doesn't even want to play the topspine backhand.

Soderling is trailblazing, he pathfinding...he's showing everyone how to do it.

I see it but I don't believe it. Still think Nadal will win this one, but at what cost???

All i can do is laugh lol.

I wish Nadal doesnt win the 2nd set. At least something exciting would happen today that means: Nadal playing a 5 set match at the French for the first time or Nadal losing at the French for the first time.

Rafa is playing really poorly...his movement is all wrong...I like Nadal alo but he doesn't deserve to win the way he's playing at the moment.

    Soderling taking his time...smart playing
