Nadal shouldn't go all out in today's final. He should take the first set relax a little. The put on the jets for the thrid. He needs to take it easy so close to FO. But if he has the second set in hands he should take.

He can't afford to do this against Roger. If he plays sub-par in the first set, he might not be able to find his jets in time to save the match. Against Federer, you have to go all out.

question: would you still consider fed goat if he won FO due to nadal forfeiting from injuries?

Yes I would. He would still have to win 6 matches in a gand slam to get to the final! Better than what the current GOAT ( debatable but seems to be the consensus) ever did.

5/14 1st serves... Terrible. But I predicted that. The good news is that Roger can only increase his 1st serve % from here.

I tell you, if he keeps retains that service percentage (36), Fed's going nowhere today. His first-serve % has been suffering as of late...

Federer is using less topspin than usual and Nadal can't handle it. Federer has a big chance of winning today.

Nadal's first serve is so much more consistent.

    Rafa holds, 1-1.
