If it was Nadal serving like that you'd be like: "Nadal has the best serve IN HISTORY. Please hit 4 aces per game!"

6 aces in a tiebreak set, how is this even close to being an ace machine? They both relied heavily on their serve in that set.

Up until the tiebreak both players were serving really well and returning poorly.

When Rafa plays well ill be positive. Weren't you the one nervous every Zeballos service game? I'm not a pretender. Nadal looks FAR from "an invincible clay God" in this match.

yeah I mean...ive seen alot of balls that rafa didnt get to or they got a weaK reply. balls that would never have gotten past him or troubled him 2-3 years ago.

rafa looks attackable, right now. who knows how he'll look in 2-3 months tho

Sigh. The trolls deserve all the "peak rafa" flack they give us because of people like you. Invincible peak Rafa winning 3 points on Zeballos serve I'm a whole set until the tiebreak on clay. Smh.

Nice hold btw, after that questionable shot selection to go down 15-40.

Lol the anti Nadal brigade. The past couple years have been saying he's playing better than ever while struggling even on clay against people he would crush in 2010 and before. That kind of talk is deserved when his own fans are saying the same after a 7 month layoff in a match where he's struggling against a journeyman.

Get back to me when Rafa loses a match on red clay. Until then he is invincible whether you like it or not (and, oh, you have to go back far in time because he didn't lose a single match on red clay in 2012). Invincible doesn't mean perfect, it means unbeatable/unbeaten. You also need a vocabulary class :???:

Nadal will always destroy the slice. The balls spins exactly the way he want it, he can return that ball back with interest.

Zeb playing good tennis when behind in the scoreline. Good hold for 4-4. There's still that slim chance of this going to a decider if he hangs on.
