I don' think Rafa wants to win this match. Some of his return shots are ridiculous

Why is everyone comparing this mug to Gaudio?

They're both from the same country and have a 1hbh...

So I guess Feliciano Lopez is basically the same as Almagro, in that case, no?

Hat, ponytail, one handed backhand. There's a clear similarity there.

This is the kind of match Rafa needed. But isn't he playing next week too? Yikes.

Doesn't matter one bit. Went 5 sets vs Isner at RG. Still won the title :)

Nadal's knee will not last long if he persists with moonballing from 12 feet behind thew baseline as he is playing much of this match. The big boys will run him ragged. Even Zeb is making him look ordinary when he plays back there.

The players need to think of what the Chilean miners endured and win it for them.

The Spanish commentary is disgusting. They're not even TRYING to pretend they are rooting for Nadal. They should get fired straight away.

On reflection as fans are we expecting too much. The guy he is playing is doing very well and it can't be easy to dig deep and get the same amount of energy when you have been away from tennis for 6 months

Time warning. Has Nadal received any this week? He seems to be playing pretty fast.

 If you're trying to hold clarky's place, you're actually doing a really bad job. No offence. Clarky is not posting probabaly because she's screaming at the tv and trying to find the words to describe this turn of events.

Nadal still struggling to return Zebs funky serve. His ball toss is way back over his head on all serves. Nadal is standing so far back he will not get near swinging serves.

On another note, although Nadal doesn't look like his usual self (due to the time off), he doesn't look too bothered by the faster pace of play. Nice to see :)

    lol.

anyway this could be a dangerous game for nadal, this will test his nerves, as will his next service game if he's 5-4 down at the time

I like Zeballos' personality. I want Nadal to win, but I like that this guy is playing like he has nothing to lose and keeping a smile on his face.
