Kristof has an early break, up 2-1, even Nadal's game is very taxing on clay as well.
lol same thread just came a little late...mods delete mine
2-2, i noticed that the opponents that Nadal has faced have served so badly. On serve now.
3:2 Nadal on serve
yeah they get really tight on serve - a break on clay doesn't mean much, anyway.
5-3 Nadal, Nadal serving for the first set, his test will come next match.
Rafa wins the first set, 6-3
Vliegen had his chances just couldn't convert. His fh is quite impressive.
I have to say this is a high quality match from both, esp. Vliegen is playing really well for his standards. The best match today in terms of exciting rallys and shotmaking.
6:3 2:2 on serve
Well Nadal's game is about rallies, clay does that.I wanna see Guillermo and Nadal meet up
would be a nice match, like last year for sure, but with Corias serve atm...we'll see.
The quality of this match his droped in the last 2 games btw.
Nadal wins 6-3, 6-3, a grind like always:mrgreen: , so whats the winning streak on clay, is it 40?
not yet 39
Ok, u have to say thats impressive, all the props.
You think so?
THe Kiefer/Coria match is making the Nadal/Vliegen look like a Borg/McEnroe classic. *rofl*
Hey Vamos, u have to admit, we havent seen the best Rafa yet.
and against either Coria or Keifer he won't need it, anyway!
seems like Coria is winning 5:2 he saved 4 BP or better Kiefer choked them away
We haven't seen the best Rafa yet, but he hasn't had to be the best, has he? He's winning comfortably anyway.
Hey Vamos, are u in Monte Carlo?
No, I'm in my living room in front of The Tennis Channel. Next best thing to being there. And a lot cheaper. ;-)
But we have some members of our site there getting all the Rafa news.
Saw the Encore on TTC.... great job Nadal... not his greatest fan, but I can definitely appreciate great tennis (on Nadal's part anyway)
