Nadal's celebration was the best I ever saw.

How he dropped straight to his back and was clinching his fists. No other tennis victory celebration has moved me more. That was special, and I am certainly happy for him.

Yes it is so refreshing to see a top player lay on the floor when they win a big title. You almost never see it happen, do you?

Now days a lot of top players fall to the ground in celebration! Perhaps the most historically significant one in our sport was at Wimbledon 2010 John Isner fell to the floor in celebration after winning the longest match in tennis history!

Depends on the motivation the player has for laying down.

It sure kicked ass. It was a treat to witness such happiness. Almost 2 years and a half he had to wait for this one!! Vanquishing the hard court monster

Nadal has done that move at the 2009 Aussie SF and Final. The 2010 US Final.

Trust me laying in the back is a move when he comes back from brinks of defeat.

How could you feel happy for a guy who going to win many more titles this year. Delpo....do not know if he has any more chances at MS1000....it too hard to beat successive top 4 players.

Delpo would have beat Berdych or Federer.....Nadal had to come there and break Delpo physically.

Damm Nadal.....why can he not win Miami instead of taking Delpo MS title.

Stop sulking. Your man will have his chance at Paris -- if what you're doing is complaining because IW is a 1000 tournament. He just won Rotterdam - you can't have everything! LOL!

I especially liked the part after he came back on court from the sideline and dropped to his knees like he was 5 years old and has perfect knees without the hurt.

Yep, he's injured alright. People with knee problems don't tend to drop down on them, even to celebrate.

For sure! He was justifiably a very happy young man. :)

I liked what Courtney Nguyen of SI tweeted (paraphrasing): "Rafael Nadal's reaction to winning should be put into the Oxford English Dictionary next to the word "Joy"."

I haven't seen Nadal that happy since winning the USO 2010. Really shows what a surprise even to him his comeback has been.
