Hey guys, since January I noticed that Rafa wear CB 2.3 with the Breathe Cage's arc support. Look the pics and say me what do you think. If I'm wrong please tell me anything.

And please, sorry for my english.

I wish someone could get a hold of his shoes. We'd find out soo much like the Air Max mistery.

Good spot! I imagine they're as unique as Federers

Federer still uses the same s2 sole that he started at Nike with.

Its highly likely Nadal would also be wearing an older Nike sole tech.

Nadal definitely has a different shoe from retail. It seems the midfoot area is a little raised on his shoes. And on the medial side, the rubber wraps up on the heel, thus there is no visible air on the medial side. But overall his shoes are still somewhat similar to the retail version as the midfoot shank pieces look the same, and the outsole textures are the same.

No way, I thought those things sticking out were where he puts his extra over grips.

Nadal's shoes are custom but very similar to the CB 2.3.
Compare your photos of the mid foot to the reatail CB 2.3 and you see that they very similar.

Perhaps. My point was most of us with eyeballs have marveled at Rafa's giant custom tongues for a few years now.

I'm sorry, but I see more curvature at Rafa's shoes than the retail version. All the outsole is the same (draw, tpu) but they have more curvature.

    Please, sorry for my english.:)

also, the tounge on his shoe isnt one piece all connected like the retail version and the breathe cage...his tounge is more conventional which i would like to have...its been my biggest gripe with the breathe free/cage and the ballistec's

that is why i liked the breathe free 3 soo much

Unless you get it off an auction site and have similar sizing and enough money to wear them for personal use.

Nice racquet set up by the way. I use that racquet with msv focus hex 1.18 at 58#'s
